dont worry they will stop working from 20 or 19 dec to 3-4 jan they also want to leave vacations.

i think that security checks for im_XXX finished quickly

Does anybody have a clear idea about security checks? what are the reasons that can add more delays on these checks? and aren't they performed prior to the medical tests and Visa fees ?

We don`t know for sure, but for some people it seems to be before and for others it`s after their medicals. It depends on the visa officer and officer.

As for what can delay the security checks, well...multiple visits outside of your country, military service, type of profession...anything really.

I have a weird status on my e-cas, it is still showing "Réception de la demande à CIC" as the main status, even though they requested additional documents for security check as well as the medical tests and they updated my detailed status to:

1- Nous avons reçu votre demande de résidence permanente le 24 mai 2013.
2- Les résultats médicaux ont été reçus.

is this normal?
shouldn't it be "in process"?
does anyone have the same status?
