I don't know, maybe because your cases were late, its good updated.

if you check with Osama, he got AOR on 14 Feb 2013 then few weeks IN PROCESS then 10 june 2013 medical request

Then should see decision made,
If accepted you/we get visa ;D

for my fiance's ecas it went from in process to application received (after he did the medical test) and now back to in process.
According to CIC, when ecas isn't updated, it doesn't mean that the file is not being worked on.

Hi guys, I have a question concerning the form IMM5669F (Annexe A Antecedants- Declaration)
for the last question ( after the question, that part when they ask u not to sign immediately, cause they might ask me to sign it later in the presence of a representative from the canadian government...)

should i sign that part or not ?!

thnks for ur help

it's been 3 months since medical. The security checks are the last step. I know this because the new caips notes show Medical passed but security check is "not started".

there is logic about it, hope they do fast checks since there are police certificates

I think the longest part is the security checks because CSIS has to dig deep.

no.
But be sure to state your work or activity from the age of 18. Though they mention on the annexe A to fill from age 18 or the last 10 years, but they emailed me to fill from 18 after i sent them the updates and medicals !

no isnt a long step or other, they will check just if ur name is present on canada black list and thats it, this all they can do according to resources.and this is the first they do before they ask you for update document and at last they recheck , dont u think you are in some kind of hollywood movie and investigation and hacking emails!!!!!!!!!this long waiting time we had since 3-4 years is just due to time they took until they opened ur file to see specially with the long run of embassies our files travel thru!! ;)

They do a lot more than checking the name against the canadian black list that's for sure. From what I read, they try to dig as deep as they can, even interpol might be involved. It would make sense to do that, or else anyone can come in. So that's why they say the last step can take a long time, because it's not just CIC who's involved.

As for ecas, yes it says medicals have been received for the last 3 months now.
