Quebec applicants 2010(Damascus) waiting for medicals

The processing time shown is for the federal part only after receiving the CSQ. Back in 2009 it was 17 months and kept going up from there. Since they transfered files from Damascus to Beirut last year, there was zero activity. So it's hard to tell you what the real processing times for Beirut are. Now, most of the files in Beirut have been transfered to Bucharest in Romania (for older applicants). Not sure about new applicants.

Are they closed? I thought they were just on reduced working hours.

"Effective Monday, in order to persuade the government that binding arbitration remains the responsible way forward to resolve our dispute, PAFSO members will withdraw all services until further notice at Canada's fifteen largest visa processing centres abroad," PAFSO said in a statement.

The centres are:
Abu Dhabi.
Ankara.
Beijing.
Cairo.
Delhi/Chandigarh.
Hong Kong.
London.
Manila.
Mexico City.
Moscow.
Paris.
Riyadh.
Sao Paulo.
Shanghai.

"We take no pleasure whatsoever in these strike actions and their real, severe, and mounting effects on the Canadian economy. But it should now be evident to all Canadians that from this point forward the government of Canada bears sole and complete responsibility for these impacts," the union said.

we know that canadian-citizen fiance' received his renewed CSQ ,can those received and proceed the medicals inform us if any received his new CSQ? specially if moon can reply as i remember she received medical in same time as canadian citizen??

I know someone who received his ppr from London last week..so I don't know if they are fully closed or on a reduced working arrangements. Maybe since June 26, things have changed.

Dear Zilar
My CSQ dosent expire because I married after one year and half from my my previous CSQ so they renew it as a married therefore I have untill december 2013!
 
Hello guys,
after receiving my AOR email, and my medical chesk list email ( which i did last week), today the canadian embassy in Amman sent me an email to renew some docs ( additional family information, annexe 1, police certificate and civil registry document)...

Should all these docs be sent to them by email or by regular post directly to the embassy ?

you should send all documents by registered mail or by courier like dhl . nothing will be acccepted by email one applicant of july 2010 already recieved his visa from amman office

Yes all papers should be sent to embassy direct . We are all here qsw applicant so you are home :) do not worry I asked embassy and Montreal before and they requested me to send all papers to embassy direct. After medical it is different from one person to another because the security check will be start that time. Some applicant did medical march 2013 after 4 month already got the visa and other still waiting
