yes but in some circumstances things will become complicated if during this time you get married and probably have children , you can't put you life on hold till you get the visa and not to mention the delay time to add your wife to the whole process ; if she want to immigrate in the first place :-\ :P

They do security check after medical right?
If so, I think everyone will have different timeline for ppr, in AD VO its taking 3 months after medical, but since i am lebanese :-X I might need to redo my medical ;D

But 9 months means they are going to be fast process, because same my friend she had done medical again also married/family

keep spirts high 8)

Mabroooook!!! Start preparing all your docs as soon as you can, don't waste any time

Best of luck :)

everyone received 2 emails, an email for updated docs and another for the medical. u received the email from Amman? I guess your file is still there.
hurry and do the medical. the expired csq is renewed automatically and sent by mail to ur address

well, i received the AOR email last week, and the medical one just today... both from Amman, but nothing concerning renewing docs.
(My file was opened in Damascus in August 2010, but later transferred to Amman cause I'm syrian).

They send you the 1017 form for the medical? I guess count yourself lucky you don't need to send any updated forms.
