Guys, I just got a call from the Canadian Embassy to stop by to complete some missing files (no idea what they could be as I thought they had everything) and to pick up my meds request. I thought I was hallucinating. ;D

They wanted me to stop by tomorrow but I can't, so I'll be going on Tuesday the 21st. I can't believe I finally got the freaking call.

Finally some action!!! Please keep us posted on what happens today. This is Beirut embassy right?

I was able to stop by the embassy today after all. Other than the papers for the Medical exams, they asked me to update some of my old documents, including the Police Certificate.

They didn't specify if I should only get a new Lebanese Police Certificate, or new certificates from all countries I've lived in like before. Anyone have any info about this?

They also mentioned that they will renew my CSQ, so that's settled.

@Moon.82, I got my CSQ in April 2009 and my AOR for PR in April 2010.

i think only Lebanese police certificate since you didn't go anywhere after you gave them the last certificates.

Btw, what's your major and your field of work?

I don't know why they are not processing the files in order, but at least this means that the files are being processed. Hopefully they will start moving faster for everybody.

I hope so, because getting a police certificate from the US is a pain in the ass (took me 8 months the 1st time around because they kept sending my fingerprints back with some error).

I majored in film studies and have been working in production houses in Beirut as an assistant director for the past 4 years.
