Be sure that all this waiting and hoping will eventually take you and your children to a new life, not an easy one, but better on the longer run.

I am expecting to get request for passport within 3-4 weeks.

yes you can consider this fact as a good news.The same issue happenned to me.They told me to send my CV and in few weeks later I received the golden email.
As about you jadzz,well i don't know your case,I advise you to do the landing process (same as me) and return back few months later

Hello all once again,
I need your opinion (especially from those who landed for a week or two and returned back to lebanon)
First,I need to know if I need to apply for the social insurance number (I will stay only for 10 days and return to Lebanon and return back to quebec in June or October 2015)
Second,Do i need to apply for the health care card?As far as I know,i remember that this card should be renewed each 6 months,so applying for it and returning to quebec after 6 months (after the card's expiry) won't make me lose the card and potentially my application to the health program?
Third,do i need to apply for anything more than the SIN and healthcard?
How much does it take time to apply for the SIN,healthcard and additionnal issues and where can I do those steps in MOntreal?Moreover are those steps easy or difficult?
Fourth,do i need to have additionnal passeport photos with me upon arriving to the airport for the Permanent resident card?
Fifth,my cousin who lives in Ottawa wants me to stay at his place during the trip.He told me that we can do the SIN and healthcard in ottawa and not montreal.I replied that such act might make me lose my credibilaty (especially that I declared my will to stay in Quebec) and eventually my PR.So i need your advice on this case.Can i do my papers in Ottawa after landing in montreal?

I am waiting for the golden email,as they told me i can stamp my visa in Senegal.My CSQ was also renewed for 1 year.

Thx bro. Yesterday,I replied back asking them to send me a copy of the renewed CSQ and golden email.

Hii All,

I am Lebanese.

I have submitted as Quebec Skilled worker.

I have my CSQ since 27 July 2012.

Later on, I have submitted my federal application and it got received by CIC on November 20, 2012.

On October 2013 they requested the medicals and all police certificates.

I sent them all the documents by the end of October 2013.

Now it is almosta year, and since then, I have not receive anything from them.

When I follow up my case on Service3.CIC , it is always telling me the same: you application is rceived as well as Medical.
That means that they entered my case to the system only.

Any of you has any kind of info on this regard?

In Brief:

1st Submittal: Sep, 2009 to Damascus

Quebec Interview: March 2012

CSQ Received: July 2012 (I sent them additional infor to get it, so it took some time).

federal App: Nov, 2012

Medical & Police Cer: October 2013

Now waitiiiiiiiiiing
