yes but you cant compare it to advanced cities I am planning to go back next year to Dubai and never come back to Canada.

they still use coaxial cables (tv cable) for internet.

Hello everyone,
It has been a while since I wrote on the blog.
I'm in montreal came one way ticket, many things to share,
First life here is extremely beautifull, calm, relax, easy and secure.
Clean oxgygen to breath , still wearing summer clothes during day and night,
It rained once last week but for a while than moderate temperature came back second day.
Easy online access to everything you need,
From banking sector to buying goods from mall to access post canada. Everything!
Many things you need to keep in mind; concerning money nake sure to bring cash with you along cheque bancaire or swift or what ever the other way is, second you are not allowed to leave canada before pr card finish unless ull get a visa again from airport this is what first thing the officer tells u at airport. If you have customs u need to make two excel sheets with goods coming after you land shipment with details and value in money even if used. And also u r obliged to make 2 excel sheets with goods carrying inside your checking and hand bag u name it good accompanying means now. The officer stamp one for you and keep one. If ur married also photocopy jewellery and office will stamp it for you, this is needed in case fire happened in ur house later canadian authorities will protect and give u back money for everything lost.
Concerning the money, you are obliged to declare every single penny going inside canada and will come later.
The law is strong, everyone is living fair life!
Canadian people are very friendly they love to help, they are way way way advanced, technology is too much advanced.
First days u get ur address give it to authorities in case u didn't have one before reaching canada like staying in hotel isn't an address, then SIN which is online no more cards and medical card also needed (3months). Then take free french lessons if needed then of course if needed evaluation of your diploma which might take max one year and if employed less, and of course search for a job. Is it easy of course not, but if you have potential and well know university and have experience and willing to get canadian experience u will find a job.

I did not get the thing regarding not being allowed to leave the country before getting the pr card and the visa from the airport.How can we apply for it and when? Maybe if we apply on the arrival he will deny our entry???

Are you sure about the PR card thing and not being allowed to leave the country before actually receiving it ?? I can't imagine controlling this without the changing the way they process PR cards, i think if this is being applied, then they no longer send PR cards by mail, you need to physically be there and receive them?? its just my interpretation in case the new law is being put into effect.

and by the way, i have couple of friends who have done the landing in toronto, never experienced this!! Is it only for Quebec applicants??

Good day all,

Hamdilla for every thing.

MY passports were stamped Aug 21st with visas valid for 5 years (VO has sent me a notification via my lawyer that passports have been stamped with visas, pls arrange to have them picked up along with all immigration documents). After 5 years for waiting finally the visas were stamped and passports are on the way back from warsaw

If i to do a quick flash back for those years, oh god i would definitely write pages on my experience with changing offices, medicals being lost, delays in processing due to so many different reasons, and on top of all my personal plans being switched in some cases and cancelled in so many cases. what an experience!! I think it damn needs a romantic dinner with my wife to get over those years with a smile and bright look ahead.

I'm planning my landing to be in october for 2-3 weeks, do all the basic stuff (from PR cards , SIN, DL, opening BA,etc..) and come back to KSA for some time, wrap up things and make my final move some time next year.

I'll continue to post in this forum, answer questions and share my experience once i do the landing, thanks to all of you for the fruitful discussions we had, i'm sure it paid of in a way and served to support us with needed know how to go about things.

Enchalla I would expect to receive the passports by end of this week, i'll keep you posted.
