Quebec applicants 2010(Damascus) waiting for medicals

i just contacted my consultant,
he confirmed for me that many people are still waiting like us, and he is getting replies from Bucharest that once they finish their job they will contact immigrants at the right time.
i asked him, why is it taking that much time, why isn't it by order, he replied that he himself, doesn't know why!
no one can ever know whats happening inside. i asked him is there re-medical? he replied no no,no we hope not!
so waiting for the last two months is like waiting for the whole five years majority of applicants went through.
plus i am expecting soon a reply from Bucharest concerning my file, ill update you guys.

This is very probable Sebastian. Maybe they are working on a bunch of files and will update them all together at once.

It can be that they work on them in bunches and once they are finished they present all.

I sent them an email last week to inform them I changed my passport and asked them about the status of my file. The answer was the same as last time: The application is currently under assessment by the visa officer.

You will be informed once we are ready to pass to the next stage of processing, or if more information is requested of you.

A CSQ or Certificat de Sélection du Québec (Quebec Selection Certificate) allows the holder to live and work freely in the Province of Quebec. Since immigrating under the Quebec Skilled Worker program is essentially a two stage submission process, the first stage being to the Province of Quebec and they issue you your CSQ, and then second stage to the Federal Government which grants your permanent residence visa!

If you have ordered Caips file you will notice that they mention eligibility and security assessment.Maybe this is what they mean.

as mentioned in the quotes which i have posted above,so u have passed the eligibility coz u got CSQ,and u have passed medical ,now u wait security check and criminality and it is the final stage,when they complete this stage,they will issue the visa for u .

i wish we all had a value date, an explanation, something at least to tell where we stand. more patience is what we need, imagine guys there was no forum? it would be harder..

r u sure that this date was written in ur caips??so congrats my dear nab,u will get it before this date ,i know many people who sent to me different caips ,and this date means the expected time to get the visa,so u will get it b4 this date,u will see.

I don't want to bother u.But the due date i had in my caips were in June of last year.

do you have any experience with Expedia concerning changing dates of booking.
do u think it is better to book with an agency for it is easier to contact with, or contacting with expedia is easy too?
