This wait is depressive!!! Especially after all of this long period.

I realize that 52% of the applicants on the forum got their visas and now the load in Bucharest must be decreasing so inshallah the remaining 48 % will be fast.

I hope and pray that this month will bring good news.

I also miss the same feeling as you especially that i lived abroad for a long time.

i am completly agreed with u my dear souheilo,ma ba2a ktir files ,believe me,they have issued the visas for a half applicants ,so ba2i shi ktit alil ya rb

Hello,

let's not blame only the VO for this delay, as when in security verification phase, even the VO does not have any idea about the file status. The authorities in charge keep everything top secret, but we can expect more delays if we lived in a suspicious country (I think lebanon is one of them).
Anyway, I think a new visa bundle is coming soon including the rest of the applicants that made their medicals before December 2013.

I think Quebec application is always delayed from 2010
Their website showing we are waiting for next update
I asked for Quebec immigration office when will be the next up date
They did not give a proper response
Anybody know how many years it will take

What about if someone has children at school and he is given only one month to leave? That is not fair at all. Most people need at least to give one month notice to their employers for resign. Others need to sell their stuff before immigration. How can one avoid getting in such a situation?

Fine at least then if the security checks are not over, then the applicant should be informed that his security checks are not over so he will know what steps he needs to take regarding his future.

Yes dear, you are right. Actually, I've sent them an e-mail asking for a time frame that I can give to a Canadian company, and they replied that my file is pending the security verification results (knowing that my e-cas is In Process since 11 March 2014). And as this procedure is done by external organisations, they cannot give any dead lines, but they said that it should not take more than a few months.
And based on my researches, the security checks start immediately after medicals. So let's hope for the best.

it is stated on CIC website that the security check phase is the most time consuming phase of them all.
As for when they start it, well some say it is done before medicals and others say after. but in my case, I've done my medicals in October 2013 and the reply that I've received from the VO was in April 2014. So definitely, my security checks are done after my medicals, or maybe they started before and still ongoing.

dear souheilo i am agreed with u bass 55000 files not for bucharest,for all vo in the world,the quota for bucharest to issue the visa in 2014 is 1800 visas,it means the files in bucharest r less than 1500 files coz we cant consider all applicants r single,many applicants have children ,so there r extra visas for them.

Security check always before medical. It has been known for ages that after getting all police certificates from home country and abroad that you reside more than 6 months, the medical is the last step then you enter the last waiting step before ppr.
It took me 3 years for them to do security check and requested my medical. If it wasn't that case applicants who got their ppr before us and did medical in november and september should have security check longer..
Ill give time before ill contact my consultant till june 20 I hope to hear smthg soon
