Quebec applicants 2010(Damascus) waiting for medicals

MY PASSPORTS ARE STILL IN THE EMBASSY...CAN U BELIVE THIS????? SINCE 10 APRIL!!!! TODAY IS 5 MAY!! I WROTE THEM BUT NO ANSWER...I WROTE TO EMBASSY IN ROMANIA AS WELL TO CHECK IF MY PASSPORTS WERE SENT THERE...THEY REPLIED ME IN THE SAME DAY...SAYING THAT BEIRUT IS IN CHARGE FOR VISAS DELIVERY AND I HAVE TO CONTACT THEM.....ANYONE HAS ANY IDEEA WHY IS TAKING THEM SO LONG?????

Are you serious your waiting for my impression of Montreal? Montreal is very nice city but very bad job market.
Everywhere in the world became very hard to get job & high competition.

I advice all engineers to move to Alberta, Montreal no new projects, you will not believe me if you know that Ive been told that bridges in Montreal about to fall, no maintenance.

But how will you prove that you tried to find a job during those six months and you did not?

Has anybody heard about a case where the PR was withdrawn from an applicant? If PR was not withdrawn, will this cause a problem at the time of applying for the citizenship later?

Another question, what about the medical insurance card and the driving license that you get from Quebec during those six months? Do you have to get new ones after you move to another province? And if your profession is regulated and you join an ordre in Quebec, will your license be valid outside Quebec?

yeah its valid until MID of FEB, by the way PPR took around 75 days from MEDs, yes I will stay 6 months and see how it will go, as I told you depends on applicant's profession, then I will move to Aberta,

salaries in albera can around 6-8000/ month, but in alberta you pay for you health card renews, for many services which are free in Quebec.
yesterday I was in Canadian embassy, they have lot of booklets and posters about Alberta its very very nice place.

In Manitoba Bechtel company took big projects.

seems that is getting more normal at Beirut embassy to take this time delay..

Since I deal with both, They have great services.
It doesn't matter which one u choose cause once u decide to get a mortgage you're gonna need a credit history and then u can apply for it at any bank.
You can open an account at rbc and ur wife can open at scotiabank.

when I collected my passport there was an applicant there asking about her passport that spent more than a month too for visitor visa stamping..
seems that is getting more normal at Beirut embassy to take this time delay..
