you know some has common friends with officers there... its easy
so you can see that our friend was true when she said in august they will start processing her fiance visa

bas if thats true why abu dhabi office so slow too hehehee process takes 19-24 months

Tayeb if there are not qualified employees in Beirut why they did not transfer our files to be proceeded in other part?? Why can't we send a request or something, in other countries in 1 year max they get the visas....Can't we sent a complain or something????

Ricoluna, sorry dear i didnt notice the new msg! I didnt log in recently to the thread. However, Yes, i am still in queue waiting for my medicals then my visa. Dont worry! You'll be the first to know...
I was inquiring about the source cz the name of this guys took my attention, 6 months ago he added Me on msn and we start chatting about immigration. He's family class category, he has a friend or a relative inside the embassy in beirut...but i dunno who reliable his source specially after many rumors and wrong annoucements...!
Concerning my representative, m3alla2 3a nafes l jaweb that the embassy is overloaded, shortage in staff... And he always asking me to refer to cic site to know the period of waiting! Btw it's 31 months by now ufff...it's really unfair... He promised me 18 max after getting my CSQ...so nth to do but waiting...!
Hope the good news will be annouced soon...

If the officers in Beirut are not qualified to study immigration cases, then they shouldn't be processing sponsorship applications either. The only difference lies in the fact that these people have someone who will be financially responsible for them for 3 years. So I don't believe this rumour either.

They are processing sponsorship applications first because Canada strives to bring family together as fast as possible. I think everything will move faster in the new year.

Does anybody know if CAIPS notes affect the processing time? I am thinking of ordering my fiance's notes since I live in Ottawa and that's where the CAIPS notes applications are sent. I just don't want them to delay his application even more!

my friend sent caips. its useless, everytime i ask him how was it wat result you got, he answers they told me your file is good jut wait hehehe

I would do the class, it shows them your eager to learn french or strenghten your french even if it says you don't need to if your are francophone. If they are asking to enter your reference number, it means they are tracking it. I think this can only help your file/situation.

i did all the classes and i got at the end a certificate..this is at the end of 2010 and beginning of 2011..i did my medical exam in march before they move my application to beirut office and till now im still waiting for the visa. so in summary this does not have any relation with the visa.tc
