for me the winter is not problem coz i have used to this kind of the weather,i have lived in moscow for 7 years and the temperature was there about -25 ,so for me i have used to see the snow every day ,it is ok for me

Then you will be fine. It's not that bad since most of the time is spent inside where there's heat. The last few days we've seen really nice weather in Ottawa, with temperatures ranging from 0 to +6....it may seem low for some, but we don't always see these temperatures in January.

Winter is not 9 months either...lol...the first winter will be shock to everyone, but after that you will get used to it.

As for jobs, I think it really depends on the field, since some fields are booming right now. Everyone should come with an open mind, because in Canada, it doesn't matter if you went to school for X...you may not find a job in that field..so you must be open to other possibilities. Like I said before, people can't expect to land and become CEO of a company...you need to work from the bottom up. Unlike Lebanon (where you work your butt off, but you don't move up)....I think hard work pays off in Canada. At least this has been my experience living here.

You cannot compare the people living in lebanon with an average or low income and people earning a lot of money in Gulf and Africa.
Lebanese business Men,will find it awkward to earn 3 times less in Canada.But in case someone was earning 1000$ in Lebanon,with no security stability.
He will never come back to Lebanon.

If everything is complete then it should take around 15 days to be issued and mailed to you. You're gonna have to wait around a month I think to receive it by mail if you're in Lebanon

It's done by mail. I'm not sure if anyone received anything by email, in my case I haven't received any email from them. I received the letter in 15 days though cause I'm residing in Ottawa.

They'll assign a file number immediately whether the docs are complete or missing...

i recieved AOR with IUC all these by email not by mail.not only me and all my friends who i know then
they dont send any thing by mail unless the application was not complete,then they return u by mail and they inform u by email too
and i didnt know anyone who recieves AOR by mail
