see till now 370 visa only for Lebanon
and that's true what the canadian embassador told me
that 200 medical exam was issued to Lebanon only and were part of it
so the quota for Lebanon is about to be 0 after couple of years
and for those 200 exam the visa will beissued in different dates around 2 years

We'be been waiting since 2009...so I'm really hoping we hear something before Christmas.

They wouldn't have granted me a 3 years visit visa if there was to be any good news soon right?

No it has nothing to do with that. They probably saw you come and go so often, that a 3 year visit visa is more suitable.

To make u wait 3 years and then reject you, I don't think it'll happen. Before the medical maybe yes but after it I doubt it.
To withdraw an application while it's under process, it's not allowed. U have to wait for a decision.

Don't take what we all say seriously, we're only discussing stuff, it's not in our hands to decide what will happen.
U might hear something tomorrow, no one knows how things are going at the embassy.
It will really be some sort of relief if we know where the visas will be stamped too.
I can't believe that among alllll the applicants on this forum, no one got a ppr yet

now ill let you know whats happennig finally in the embassy
its not matter of investigation or medical or security check
and its according to an MP in Ottawa

Canadian embassy gave all around the world 2012 - 2013 ( 129.600 visa ) includimng Lebanon in 370 visa
and Romania for 2400 visa

they are full for this year

for the new applicants the lucky day will be in the next year for the next 129.000 visa
they wana put us in the next new visas thats all
so everybody in the new year will get it

i personally believed in that caps, but it can't be related to a MP because they are not allowed to talk about the immigration process, not in their job description, they only give information about requested files.. i think there are still people who are getting their visas somewhere in the world..

I agree. I'm sure Bucharest has issued visas to Lebanese people. We are less than 10 people out of thousands who have had their files transfered to Romania.
