I just received my medicals, i think its the fastest current file lol, hopefully the next step is less than the 8 months that they show in that email..

I had a feeling this will happen to you, as you can only withdraw before your file reaches the processing stage.
Get the visa, come for a visit and see if you like it...you don't have to move right away. You can see what opportunities there are for you before you move your entire family. You have nothing to lose if you try. Goodluck!

I agree. a visit won't hurt. you can move around, this way it will be easier for you to decide where you'll settle down once you land for good... I advice you to visit Canada during winter time, it's not as bad as some ppl say.

Just show them that you have an immigration file under process once you apply for a visit and for sure they'll grant you one.

It doesn't matter who has emedical and who doesn't...everyone who did their medicals done at different locations in Lebanon had their results received within a week or so.

mine are not received yet ! my ecas is still mentioning application received and my old address although i updated it in may 2013!

My fiance's ecas shows "application received" when they received his medicals. Then it went back to "in process". So I am sure they received your medical, but may have not updated the Ecas notes.

Maybe they are so busy with the paper work and have no time to update the ecas! hopefully!

Yes, don't worry, ecas isn't always updated...I think it depends on the officer.

2. Original individual civil status records for you, legalised according to instructions listed bellow



3. Original family extract legalised according to instructions listed bellow.



4. Your military service exemption certificate.



5. Settlement of Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for you.


i think they didnt require other forms because they have had them for less than a year..
