Hello guys,

Well after a long time I am reading again this thread. I think I didn't really miss any of the good news.

New members you are very welcome abroad for this long trip.

I am trying to be very optimistic but based on what we're sharing nothing assure a near end of this, and especially till now no official annoucement from Canadian Embassy to Beirut. Today they started studying files, after taking more than 100 days arranging and putting them in order after the transfer from Damascus. So in my opinion and it's only MY OPINION, they won't send any of the medicals requests before September 1st and no visa will be issued before Decmber 2012 due to insufficient number of Canadian employees and high number of files.

Hope I am totally wrong and they will prove the contrary.

Yalla we passed more than half way, we are almost there so lets keep hope everyone.

Hello everyone!

I am so glad I found this forum...I thought I am alone with this... My name Is Nora and I am Syrian.

They started processing my PR application on April 11, 2010.

They transferred my application to the Amman office on February 21, 2012.

And Still waiting of course for medicals :'(

Good Luck for all...let's hope for something to happen in June!

My file is under processing for more than 29 months. ...
My application also transferred to Amman office in the same date..

Did you receive any Email form the Embassy the last three months ? me I didn't receive any single Email from them while I'm sending them more than six Emails for the past 5 months ..

Even if you receive an email it will be worthless. I have received a reply on my lawyer's email a couple of months ago but it was bullish!t. So don't bother

Well Jet, if u consider my lawyer as a reliable source so let it be. He mentioned actually that they started before 1st of june for those who their files are 95% reviewed in damascus. They started with new files 4 days ago.

yes i do consider it as a reliable source as long as you trust that he/she is telling the truth. usually lawyers have inside connections and info. anyway, thanks for the good news bro
