Quebec applicants 2010(Damascus) waiting for medicals

Hello All, OMG I was searching for Lebanese people who are applying for Canada and for some reason I didn't find any, maybe because you are all here !! ;D

Well, I applied as a skilled worker back in Jan 2011, I got my CSQ in May 2013, and I got my federal file number in July 13 so any one have an idea about the proess time? is it as mention in CIC webste as a 37 months !!

Welcome! Well I don't mean to depress you, but everyone here has been waiting a very long time, some with a lot more than the 37 months shown on the CIC website. However, all of our files have been transfered to Bucharest where it's supposed to be faster. Most of us here have now received the medicals, mostly in the last couple of months.

and I sent my papers to Concordia university to complete my third masters degree in printing media field

If I want to contenu a Master degree in quebec , should I apply from now . Knowing that we dont know when the visa can be issued. It may take +8 months . Is it better to wait until geting the visa and then aply to university?

It seems like no visas will be issued in this week as thursday should be holiday and usually thursday is the day of issuing visas ...
hopefully, one of the next thursdays in summer will be our thursday of relief

jesus joseph and mary in a tiny canoe! this paperwork requested from me is taking longer than i expected mainly because of the local services related parts, I was really hoping contacting the DHL today. on another note do I really have to fill in a travel history for my parents and sibling ?



Oh and Lemons , you are right 1st world countries are not safe at all, it is post-apocalyptic and mayhem there, however 3rd world countries ARE safer and the only 4th world country is the safest, how didnt I realize that any sooner? /facepalm

well its not enough, I have my ex fiancé in montreal since long time. there are crimes like they woke up and they found their neighbour cut in pieces

some places ppl jobless and drunk most of the time, this thing you cant know though google. expensive rents/area usually is safe high security

no, you just need to fill out your own travels.

Well that guy who cut his boyfriend into pieces and taped it is a psycho. The chances of something bad happening to you are slim to none, when you consider how many people live in a city/or a country. You can't live your life in fear. Like I said before, I've been here my entire life, and not once did I fear for my life. Isn't Lebanon worse? People closing roads, waving runs, burning tires?

Another thing, if you see homeless and drunk people, 99% of the time, they're not dangerous, in fact when you talk to them you will realise they are nice, some even educated. Anyway, maybe I am biased since I majored in Criminology lol...but my point is...you can't live your life looking over your shoulder.

I think they mean for anyone who has yet to receive their CSQ, these new rules will apply. If you have already received your CSQ, then your application will be processed using the old rules.
