my fiance said he passed by and the building is under construction. So maybe stamping is all they can do.

LOL I dunno about the people, but yes they are renovating the building.

But, from what I read online, we are supposed to send out passports in to Bucharest (most likely by diplomatic mail), and the stamping takes a maximum of 6 weeks.

guys make sure to be fast for more than 8 hours before your blood tests, it is safe for your wife to have her xray that doesnt affect breastfeeding..

those 6 weeks will pass the slowest lol, hope they work it out in beirut embassy soon..

they say 6 weeks or what ever, ppl from gulf they send their passport to London for visa stamp, it takes 45 to 90 days ;D
but not a matter about that , who waited 5-6 years can wait few weeks more

and that's what they told me

Dear Sir,


In the interest of better workload distribution, Citizenship and Immigration Canada has transferred your application for permanent residence to our office for further processing.

Your application is now in queue pending the review of a designated visa officer. Once the initial assessment is initiated you will receive a notification asking for updated forms and the completion of a medical examination.

Your reference number is now EP********. Make sure to always quote your file number in all correspondence with our office.

Concerning your CSQ question, unfortunately this document will not allow you to go to Canada. You will first have to be issued a visa and become a Permanent Resident of Canada.
