Hi forum,

Would it be possible to move to Quebec immediately after receiving PR via EE and landing outside of Quebec?

Or could this affect the citizenship application later on?

Thank you !

could be. it is better to stay at the province for at least 6 months before moving to other place.
Yeah, I guess it's hard to say... anyone on the forum with a similar experience, where they had issues because they moved to QC while applying through the Federal program?

It can make it very difficult to get services like RAMQ because you won’t have CSQ. Your PR card could not be mailed to Quebec. Just because nobody on this forum has had difficulty getting citizenship does not mean you won’t in the future. IRCC and many provinces are exploring how provinces can have more control over where PRs settle especially if they have declared they will settle in a specific location. You are playing with fire if you land and don’t attempt to settle outside Quebec.
