Because I have dm for sponsor but pr in process

Sorry, I thought you meant you have DM and were wondering when your BGC started. If you ever had a ghost update, it probably means it has started. What I advise is that you order your GCMS notes to have an idea of your application timeline. DM for sponsor means that IRCC has reviewed and deemed them eligible.

If your application is still in progress, you can assume it started when you have a ghost update. But if you have DM, is it for sponsor or PA? I would think DM means your BGC is done or if it's not, you can check on your GCMS notes. Or maybe someone else can clarify, if I'm wrong.

Both sponsor and PA are DM already last March 13th 2020.

i just called MIFI .. i’ve been calling every week and each time they say that maybe next week ..
They lady i just talked to was kind of rude and she told me i can’t do anything and i can’t tell you anything except that you have to wait .
She told me i’m not supposed to tell u that but i see that they are checking your file for ( assurance sociale ) i said that i never took assurance sociale from the gov except for ( assurance emploi/PCU ) in the past 3 mnths because of the Covid-19 . She said ok but u know that if u have assurance sociale u can’t have CSQ .. i said i told u that i never used assurance sociale . and she told me to wait also and whenever it’s finished they will mail it.
it’s frustrating !!

First time posting, long-time lurker, but just received CSQ in the mail and wanted to share in the hope it's helpful to others! My spouse is a UK citizen, for reference.

CSQ sent: Dec. 31, 2019
Received at MIFI: Jan. 7, 2020 (according to stamp on CSQ)
AOR: Feb. 18, 2020
CSQ approved: July 7, 2020
CSQ received by mail: July 13, 2020

So, unlike some people I received the CSQ by post rather than e-mail. No idea why.

What rule is this? My wife came on work permit to Canada after marriage. She has a valid SIN. I got my PR first and now her sponsorship application is going on and we have applied for CSQ. Does it mean she wont get her CSQ? No such thing was mentioned in any questionnaire that I remember

Yes ur wife can get Csq . The only rule is that you should not have assurance social .
