When did they receive your application? When did you receive the AOR in The mail? What was the date on it? When did they charge your credit card? I keep receiving mixed infoqhen I call. Can you share your CSQ timeline please?

They charge your credit card just 5 days after. I just called and they said the dates on the website is the date the application was received. He said the date on AOR doesn’t matter it’s just to tell the money was charged and to give a file number.

Hopefully it’s a smooth ride from now on for you

Hi guys,
My wife sponsorship application was delivered to Quebec immigration on December 17th, but my credit card has not been charged yet and I have not received any email as confirmation that they are processing the application. Is this normal?

Took me about 2 months to receive my AOR ..

Called the immigration CIC yesterday asking about if it’s true the MIDI is working with them and it won’t delay our application ..
they guy told me that for sure it will affect .. even if they they finish all my application without CSQ they can’t process or give a PR .. so we have to wait after CSQ

and then he told me than now CSQ are working faster .. ( i don’t know if it’s true or they are just saying that for people .. )

So they do process the whole application without CSQ, they just can't finalize it.

This means that as soon as the CSQ is issued, PPR should follow very soon after?

He wasn’t clear about this point ..
but i think that what u said is whats happening ,, i saw other applicant get their PPR and waiting to get COPR and passport after CSQ

It's very unclear. I see some got the csq and they are waiting months and months before getting medical request or bcg done. If it's just csq, why some are waiting 15 months before receiving their ppr?

From what I saw, most of the folks with the csq waiting months for the medical are inland applicants. Outland applications are processed differently

I’m an Outland applicant. I haven’t got the medical yet, and still waiting for the CSQ.

The Department is currently processing applications received up to:

- August 23, 2019 for a spouse, common-law partner or dependent child;
- October 4, 2019 for other family members.
