Thanks, Its just that I am in Canada currently and would be nice if I was able to work but I can't haha. My 12 months processing will be up in 12 weeks.... Hopefully doesn't go over that

Hi guys,

I submitted the CSQ and it was received by MIDI by August 12, 2019. I've been on the edge of my seat for a long time trying to figure out by when my husband can get here.
When the CSQ is approved, what are the steps after that? His medical results have already been receive . Does the visa officer then just send a passport request to the applicant? How long after the approval date of the CSQ? And then when they receive the passport/photos/etc., how long does it take for the applicant to get the visa?

It would be the email of the visa office that is handling your file. I had to ask 3 extensions for my CSQ and it took 5 and a half months to receive it. Each time it was not a problem at all they just wanted to make sure that you are still trying to get what they are asking for. Just provide proof of your receipts for csq and any proof you have that you have applied for the csq on that date and explain that you will submit the csq to them as soon as you have it. Trust me needing more time Is fine especially since its not in your control and you can only do what you can do.

Once the CSQ has been charged to your credit card, but they have not yet reached the applications received by the date yours was received, does that at least mean that everything in your documents was ok? And that come january when your application is processed, they're not going to mail it back to you to correct anything right? The whole process has been so long that I'm starting to doubt every little thing I've done so far
