Victor,

I really do not think it's a practical idea.
As RICOLUNA informed you, the fees will be much higher..plus..there won't be any acceleration really in your file process.

Good luck

Hello RICOLUNA,

actually the systems also is showing my status and giving me some info that my application may not yet received etc!! while the last time i checked it was showing "application received" so it may be a sort of problem in their systems

Dear Mef,

a piece of good news is that mine also is gone ... Dont worry bro .. i guess this is something comes from their system error or updating
mine was "application received" and now shows nothing like i had never had any file number.

Let me know if your info came back

Guys I am getting the same issue, my status was application received, and now I can't access the site.

Shall we initiate a contact?

I think we can give them a time for 2 weeks and then we can drop a notice to embassy ...

Guys do not worry, i am sure they are updating the system and by next week u will be able to check ur status again....it will remain IN PROCESS any way till u will send them back the medicals and than will appear A DECISioN HAS BEEN MADE!! As long as u have ur file number no need to worry.Good luck and have a nice week end

Thanks KIA,

If my status changes or comes back to the same previous point - IN PROCESS-, I will let you know.

You do the same please!!!!!!

Regards
Mef

KIA,

Sorry man, by the time I was writing to you, I returned to the CIC Check Status page, checked my application and it's back to - IN PROCESS - with same info, nothing changed..................... although in this morning it was saying we are not able to identify you using your info.

Just to let you know!

Good Morning Hussein,
For the moment u can not verify ur status online, bfore u get the CSQ.Only aftr u get the CSQ and u apply for the federal part they will give u a file number, and than u can verify.
I also sent my file on 7 or 10 August 2010 and no news till now, we are all waiting for them to call us for an interview. as u know they moved our files from Damascus to Montreal and for this they will be late to call for us, but is expected by the end of this year.Good luck and keep us informed if u get ay news.

Dear Riculina

You and me are on the same boat i applied on 12-Aug-2010. Sure i shall inform you if i get any news. I would like to clarify one thing, I did my master degree in computer science in 2002 and i submitted my case in 2010 it means, i got my degree eight years prior to filing of my case, will i get marks for my education or there will be any problem. as i see a friend on this forum who was advising somebody that the degree must be with in 5 years or less prior to filing of the case. do you think i will lose my points. \
So your expectation of CSQ or interview is by the end of this year. one thing more i want to clear that i counted my french points as i sent results of AF but i did not take A1 test, do u thing the AF level-1 result will give me any points as per candavisa website low bigginner will get 2 points. i dont have any documentary proof of any standardized test but i know my french at the moment up to uppper bigginer level now. do you suggest me to take A-1 course now.

Hello Hussein
For the master points, sure u will get them, u will get 12 points for ur education.....in a previous threat they were discussing maybe about area of training where u can get more points, other tha the 12 that u already have for education. To get points for area of training ur diploma shoud be obtained recently and have direct work experience in ur area of training. But do not count them, u count for education 12 points.
For ur french level, if u have no diploma, they will verify ur level during the interview, i think u should start preparing of course, at least to have a small conversation in french with them, is important for them and if u have no luck and meet a bad guy at interview he can semnd u back to study french, so is better u go prepared. Is also important what u have declared in ur aplication when u have send it, i mean how many points u declared??what level? and u should go prepared for this level or better, as u wanna show them u are going there to live and work, and make a life...
where are u from? u applied alone or with a lawyer? u know th total of points u have if u say ur french is low?
Keep in touch
regards

Dear Fellows

After getting my CSQ, I applied for PR in March 2010, it is been 17 months and there isn't any news.

I received the AOR and the Immigration file number at the end of March 2010 and Nothing until today.

Even the e-cas when i enter my info shows that there is nothing going on in my file.

Any ideas?

THEY ARE VERY VERY SLOW FROM THE FEDERAL PART, NOW THEY INCREASED THE WAITING TO 20 MONTH!!!BUT SOON U SHOULD RECEIVE UR MEDICALS, SO NO WORRIES. EVEN IF U CHECK UR FILE WILL BE ALWAYS THE SAME : IN PROCESS....U WILL RECIVE THE MEDICALS, SEND THEM THE RESULTS AND AFTER IT WILL SHOW : A DECISION HAS BEE MADE AND THAT'S ALL.ANYWAY U ARE ALMOST AT THE END OF THIS LONG PROCESS, BY SPRING U WILL BE IN CANADA!!!GOOD LUCK, U ARE ALMOST DONE
