The table represent the interview dates in each zone.U should look for Damascus.The first mission has 1 officer only who will held the interviews between 29 mai and 7 jully. A second officer will start 5th june till 14 July.
That's it.So if u applied in July/august and ur file is complete u should be called for an interview between this days.I HOPE!

after a long absence I read lots of good news in this forum from you.

The first and foremost one was that ICEBERG interview ... ICE ... I am really happy for you and honestly i was always worried about your status which i could not tell you ... so i am happy and i pray for you buddy

and about myself:
- After receipt of my CSQ on 12th December 2010:

- my application for permanent was reached to embassy on 27th February

- On 14th March I received my AOR and file number letter which was dated 3th March (means two weeks for delivery of letter from embassy to us)

- the receipt of my check was enclosed in the letter dated 2nd march (it mean within 5 days our applications can be processed and they can issue your file number one day after receipt of your payment in the bank)

- My file number was not registered in the web site until 1st April which showed my status as "Application received!" on this date (it means it may take (at least for me) around one month after issuing your file number (B XXXXXX) to put your information in the web site cic.gc.ca)

- Now after around 2 weeks still my status is "application received" supposedly it should be changed to "IN PROCESS" however i dont know how long is the standard time for transformation of the application statuses from "Application received" to "IN PROCESS"

- any way it seems the standard time until we receive medical request is 15 months in Damas ...

hoping above can give some ideas about my timelines to other people who are interested to know always "WHAT IS HAPPENING THEN ... ???"

My husband's sister is already in Canada now, but after receiving CSQ and applied for federal part they waited around one year to get the visas on their pass.
After 8 month they received the request for medicals and 3-4 more month they get the visas.
Their status on internet remained IN PROCESS till the moment they sent the passports for the visa.After that it was wrote, A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE ALREADY and u will be informed soon! So checking online or not checking is the same,u're status will be always in process.

What Ricoluna said is correct, My application status didn't show received, but shows IN PROCESS after 2 weeks of submittal, I am waiting for medical now.............

Hope things wil be alright in notifications received soon.

U'll need not less than 10 month to receive ur medical request, after that maybe 3 more month...but at least u have ur CSQ!!Congrats
how many month after u applied took them to call u for an interview????

For all damascus applicants:just wanted to share

Today i have been told by my lawyer that the embassy in Damascus is working on regular basis and the political situation will not affect at all our process of immigration.
In worst case, if the political situation will become worse they will move the files to another city: Beirut, Dubai....etc, but nothing will be stopped.
We go on than...

now i am waiting to get a file number for federal process...and further on the request of medicals...!!! as you're saying long time ha!

No waiting list mail.

So, it's 7-week time from now till the interview date...
and I TRULY DEEPLY UNBELIEVABLY IN DESPERATE NEED FOR MANY MANY MANY PRAYERS..
SO YOU GUYS HAVE TO SORT IT OUT..SHIFT ON IT OR WHATEVER..I JUST WANT TO GET LIFTED UP BY UR PRAYERS BY MAY 26!
