Hello Guys .... It is good to hear from you all again ..
From my side nothing changed yet .. Still didn't receive anything from their side :(
I am waiting for my interview, and I wish those canceling news for the interviews aren't right ..
Otherwise, I don't know how long we're gonna wait to immigrate to the land of promises ??? ::) :P
I am wondering too, that we mentioned in our applications two years ago that we are immigrating for a better future and because we are young ...
Well the second part (we are young) doesn't apply anymore to some of us :p loooll .. Hehehe
And Mike I wish u the best of luck man, and keep up the good spirit and faith .. and of course you'll get the CSQ with ur famiy ..

We know that we're tired and upset all from the whole waiting process, but even with in my opinion this is related to our countries and area ..
Because the problems and the unsafty is moving from country to another and that's what it keeping us waiting and postponing our interviews ..
That's causing the delay for us :o :( ..

The process looks like going too slow. I sent them the missing documents they asked for at the end of December but received no reply yet. When I called them last week they said that when the documents are received it takes them a long time to distribute them to the concerned departments, so my documents have not been added to my file yet. DHL confirmed delivering the package at the beginning of January and now we are in mid-February so it seems those folks are doing nothing over there.

How long do we need to wait until we get there (if we get the CSQ of course)??

When I applied at the end of 2010, the receptionist in the embassy told me the waiting time frame should not be longer than 6 months. Now it has been two years and two months and still nothing. At least we need to know if it is a yes or a no, so we can plan what we should do for our future. Maybe we are wasting other chances in our lives just because of this long waiting.
 
Hi. I got the csq and applied for federal. The status of my file is that it was transferred to Beirut office. It's been two years now since the start of file study and one year file transferred. Has anyone the same case as mine ?
 
where do you live Kain? Egypt?

msharafaldeen you're absolutely right .. And by the way we sent our applications pretty the same time .. mine was sent in 20 December 2010 .. but they didn't request me any documents for the updates like they did with u.

And I agree with ur post 100%, especially that we need @ least to know if it is a YES or a NO.

initial @ least u got the CSQ .. ur @ the end of the road ;)

By the way .. all the applicants who received their CSQ falling within ur same case .. It's normal for now on ..
The immigration to Canada is becoming tougher day by day ..
In my opinion "ZAMATNA" (Hope so ???)

when i first applied , the time delay for processing a file was 18 months. Now it's 36.
It's annoying to see the status not updated ! So i guess we just have to wait .
Now my wife is pregnant. What shall we do when we deliver ? With What papers we should update our file ?

initial u have to forget everything related to the rules two years ago ..
Most/All the applicants within this forum applied two or more years ago .. So we are all in the same circle ..
Everything is changing .. the rules too ..
Anyway, these are great news about ur wife ...
Of course u have to update ur condition, and u have to provide the born certificate and additional papers (which I'm not sure about) to the immigration office.

when adding a new family member to the file, does it take as long as it took for processing the whole file or they add the baby right away ?

You have to update your case within 3 months of any change related to you family, job and address change referred to your AOR letter.

If I want to send my TCFQ results to Quebec do I have to send FORM A-0520-MA(2012-11) along with it. Do I need to pay money for this change as well and how much is the cost?
I will really appreciate a prompt response.
One more thing that is there anyone else with out a file number? As i only have my reference individual number and got confirmation from the BIQ regarding this that it points to our file.

True, but only for the most important part which is the family situation ... but not for the others ..
I changed my job 6 months ago .. and I didn't inform them about that ... I will show them the necessary papers for that during the interview ...
If in any chance I received that **** invitation ..

This processing time is for your federal application part, so from the time when you apply for the second part.

Well kfzmm I'm not sure about the form that you need to send (because I didn't do any exam and I didn't either send anything later) ...
But for that change (like other changes) .. you don't have to pay anything for the canadian embassy ..
Just you have to pay for the Aramex or the DHL .. (45 $) .. I think (Donno if they've increased that) ... but only this kind of amount ..
Now I don't think you don't have a file number .. well you should .. of course you're searching in the wrong place ..
you should have numeraux de dossier et numeraux de reference ..
