Thanks. God made everything so simple for me.
Interview was not difficult.
They do not ask any technical question. They ask everything about yourself. So all answers are with you. Speak truth. This is the key to success in the interview. They are not tough. But working honestly as per their system. They have a good system.

I would add a points:
Spend your time to improve your skills and qualification,
learn about Quebec

i have applied my file on 21 november 2011 and my CSQ interview is on 21 november 2012 in turkey,i need to know how important is to have french skills during the interview? and are the interviews done in hilton parksa hotel itself?? or near it?

Cherif2100 ...the interview will be in hilton parksa hotel ... but how you don't know that and u already got your interview email??!! .. all these details should be included inside the invitation .. anyway good luck with that .. of course u have to prepare ur french skills very well .. after all the whole interview will be conducted in french and u'll be assesed according to that and of course other factors .. plz can u revert with more details about ur condition ... since u had ur interview after only 1 year ..!!! ... ur visa office, ur nationality, ur degree, ur file number etc....

Hello Guys,

Nice to hear the good news again and that things are moving properly, congrats to all those who received an appointment for their interview and those who already got their CSQ.

I'm worried about one thing, i have a friend who submitted his application in Dec. 2010 and within the last months he submitted the cirtificate of his spouse, after being graduated, to be added to his file. 2 weeks ago he received an email confirming the reception of new documents and ASKING HIM TO SUBMIT THE LANGUAGE TEST WITHIN 3 MONTHS FROM THE EMAIL DATE AS A MUST!!, OTHERWISE HIS APPLICATION WILL BE CANCELLED!!

in my case Im working on french, whenever I have time for that, so that I can reach my interview with sufficient communication ability, but not sure that i can provide a good level language attestation within 3 months if its going to be requested now, specially that such tests are not available here in khobar - KSA, while in other city (Riyad) they are available but not monthly.

Your advice dears, do you think that all who are waiting their interviews will get such an email, or just my friend was unlucky and was asked for that because he updated the file by sending the certificte of his spouse!?

Hey ahmad K ... that's strange .. I'm also a 2010 december applicant and I didn't send any language test !!! ..why would they request such thing ... the new rules don't apply to us but for the new applicants only ..!!! I didn't receive such email and I hope I don't ... The only email I want to receive is my interview date and the acceptance of my CSQ hehe
Anyway wish him gd luck .. and please revert later with what he did or receive from the embassy, maybe he can help us more ... thks

I think because his friend added a spouse after the new rules then she will be treated according to the new rules! The new rules require that every applicant send their language test! They have not considered her to be an old applicant! That's what I think...

No my friend, he didnt add a spouse, he already submitted his application including his spouse, all what he sent is here university degree (as she wasnt graduate when he applied)

This is an alarm for all applicants who applied before the new rules that they must work hard on French and try their very best to prove their skills in a test certificate.

Oh my God, I am going to send my new born's documents soon and I am afraid they are going to ask for a French certificate for my wife. I already submitted my TEFAQ results but my wife did not. I don't think we will be able to provide a French test certificate for her for the time being and her level in French is not good to do a test. We already have enough points I think without her knowing any French. Is it possible that we will be asked to get a French certificate now? We have been waiting for two years and paid all the fees for the applications and the tests and the comparative evaluation and everything. We don't even have any accredited centers in Syria to do any French test any more, and if we have to do so we will have to go to Lebanon. If they cancel my application now, I am going to commit suicide.

thank you ThunderBird11 for your reply, i got that interview invitation email but i was wondering why the interview would be held in an hotel and not the embassy itself.. anyway hope eveything goes well till then, i need to practice in french again since its been a while that i dont talk it enough, actually im Lebanese, i applied through damascus visa office, i have licence technique in nursing i think this is what fast tracked my file, my file number is DA000051434..
