Hi mrr,

Good Luck in your interview..
You can attempt TEFAQ exam, its offered here at AF Abu Dhabi. The next scheduled exam is on April 5.
Check this link: http://www.af-aboudabi.net/spip.php?rubrique55&lang=en

If you want to do TCF, then I would recommend doing TCF FOR QUEBEC which should be easier since its designed just for the immigration purpose. Its offered at AF Dubai but not sure when the next scheduled exam is. Check the below link for more details on the exam, the link doesn't seem to be updated anyhow: http://www.afdubai.com/english/html/exams_TCFQUEBEC.htm

Good Luck :)

Dear genona,

Yes you are right BIQ Damas is closed even I received my AOR from montreal, but I has been observed that all the interviews related to BIQ Damas diverted to Alexandria, Egypt and Istanbul, Turky.

Hi genona,

Your category says PNP and not QSW !! What program you have applied through !! Because you might belong to a different category and your interview might be somewhere else like in Abu Dhabi for example !!

I have not taken any of these exams yet as my knowledge in french is still very basic.. but if your knowledge in french is good enough then go for TEFAQ which is in April at AF Abu Dhabi.

When was your friend's interview? Was it all in French ?

Dears,

For all those who applied the second file for the federal part..u can now check online the status of ur file, if they received the medicals, if the asked for medicals.......anything related to ur file.there is a service called CAIPS, i sow is used by users and they provide all info u need.
Check here : http://www.caipsnotes.com/About.shtml
Unfortunately the service can not be used by those who did not applied for federal part yet.
Good luck guys

Hi Bachar
I took level-1 course in AF last year Feb 2011 for 28 hours only, rest i studied from lectures in my computer from Jefrench.com website given to me by a friend in flash ram, google translate, and french news papers etc but in between i left the studies as well. So basically i did not do continuous but with patches by translating sentences. overall it was irregular study since last one year. May be i could have achieved more if i had studied regularly and continuously. In oral expression i still feel that i am better than what i achieved i was marked on one question only A2. In second question i could not understand two words that changed the whole scenario so i finished conversation well before specified time of 10 minutes. I realized later that i should have kept continue the conversation to prolong it to 10 minutes. I learnt more than 100 verbs through google translate and learnt the basic structure of formation of sentences in present/past/future from the jefrench material that i mentioned above. I did not listen enough to understand french conversation thats why I got only A1 in comprehension orale part.

regards
Mazhar
