In 28th April i have received my full documents confirmation stating my file is UNDER STUDY by chief inspector in charge for immigration to Quebec province.

Today and after 3 months waiting after AOR, I have receive fax letter stating that my interview will be on 11th October 2010 at the Canadian Embassy - Damascus.................

God............ I am so happy...

Indeed I am accompanying my De Facto Spouse (G/F)...... BUT looking after aevery thing paperwork wise.

She is fluent in French.... Her study was French Language in addition to some other languages... i am bit worried about my ability in French, just started learning few weeks ago....

Any Advise?

i have the same problem since i am having a very busy life and schedule
yesterday i was talking with a french instructor she was recommending the method named "connection" which is the best for interview

she said that for interview some methods are not suitable at all and its like wasting time when you have a limited time

you need to practice the dialogues and conversations which are for proving yourself as a person able to communicate in a good way for employment and daily life in french language so you may not need to learn all foods in french or meanings of all sports etc

at last it seems u have a good chance for practicing with your gf which this is a good opportunity you need to take

Congratulations for the interview.
Do not worry about it..it will be just fine.
A tiny, small advice I add to Kia's & Shahi's..is to listen to spoken french..lets say..internet radios in french..that will make your ears familiar with the language music & may help you to catch some words/expressions (but don't worry if u don't).

You are STARS.................... I am listening to what you are saying,.... I am worried little bit.... i have contracted French Teacher to teach me FRENCH... My G/F is so helpfull and sje istrying to let absorb as much it could be of French Language at least for conversational level to cope with the intervirew............

Although lots of friends told me to calmdown and thing gonna be alright, but honestly I know my abilities and still little inconfidient about it,,,,,,,
