Hello all,
any ideas which month/year applicants are being interviewed these days at abudhabi for quebec?
seems so many from 2012 are being called for update of docs but none from 2011!!
may be abu dhabi doesn't have much applicants..... confused!!
any info much appreciated.

are you 2011 applicant?
i'm May 2011 applicant , i did not receive anything from them until now. i send them an update since May 2013 and i called them they update it to my file in Oct 2013 and they inform me that my file is under process. the same scenario is applicable for all of us , how they are interviewing 2012? do you have any exemple to share with us.
hope that they will put our application soon on the right way otherwise i think maybe due to the huge number of application in 2011 they will consider as backlog and return back to us the fees without saying even sorry.
this waiting tiome is killing hope that it will not stay for long time.

I am march 2011 applicant applying with family.
I have sent once my tcfq result thats it. Nothing else never called them. Don't feel like calling them since I feel nothing I am going to find other than vague terms about which nobody knows.
Well lets see nothings clear. Better forget about it.
Someone of 2012 from Jordan n currently in uae was contacted for some updates. Read on this forum. I believe I got it right.
Let us see what happens

I am contacting each week the immigration office in Montreal and all of the officers are telling me the same ..
Even though I sent my application in December 2010, but they did receive it in March and now they are treating January's 2011 applications for Lebanon, so I still have to wait other 2 months so they call me for an interview!!
Other than that, they said that my application is good and nothing is wrong with it so far bla bla bla!!
And the life goes ON and ON and ON :P

Hope that we will be called soon, do uou have any 2011 applicant" not priority" called for interview or is in the waiting list for the interview.
I called them one month ago and they told me that my application is "en phase de traitement" and yesterday i called again ghey said " en phase d'attente de traitement" i dont know exactely the difference.
I checked with many 2011 applicant and no one has been called for interview or just receive a change in the application.
Thank u for sharing any 2011 applicant experience.

That's mean that no one is sure what to say ..
I don't know anyone from 2011 that has been called for an interview yet! we are ALL in the same boat of wait :(

I'm still waiting anything from the canandians, but I have some great other news where I applied for a Business Visa (B1/B2) to USA ..
And I did the interview in only 1 week and GOT my 5 Years Multiple Entry VISA into US :P ;D :D
The funniest thing is that I'm waiting and paying and following my Canadian papers for 3 years now without anything, and I got my US visa in just 2 weeks LOL ..
Anyway, I will go in January or February for couple months to work in USA and If I found that I am happy, I'm thinking to stay there and forget about Quebec .. I can go visit Quebec Hehe ..
Anyway, it's just a plan for now but the DEFINITE thing is that I am going into USA and will see later what happens ..

Hello LastManStanding .. the questions were very basic, like where do you work, why did you change your work, why you are going to travel to US, show me the work paper, show me the US letter, have you been in Doha LOL (she actually asked me this and don't know why .. although I've never been in Doha) .. show me the bank statement ..
I didn't lie with anything, my file was fully prepared and I had all the needed info, cz I really work in a US company and my 100% work is with USA ..
Anyway .. wish you the best of luck if you are thinking to apply ..

As I informed you that, I got CSQ in OCT 2013. My file transferred to Abu Dhabi office in the last week of Mar 2013.
Abu Dhabi office asked me to submit police certificates for my wife and myself from the countries where we stayed more than 6 month from the age of 18 years. I collected certificates and sent by courier in the second week of August. Courier tracking record shows that my documents have been reached at their office.
Till date I did not receive any information from Abu Dhabi office. File status shows Application Received since March 2013.

Almost three and half years. I think I have to wait at least 1 to 2 years more....
