Hello guys, now you can congratulate me
Today I did the interview and got the CSQ thank God. I aw soooo nervous but the interviewer was soooo nice and gentle. I was really upset because of the delay I had on my file and was thinking that these quebecers are unprofessional but after I had the interview with this gentleman I really changed my mind and became more eager to go live in Quebec. My interview was at 3 pm and he was punctual and came to call me on time. He saw that I was with my wife and kids and that my kids were so noisy so he told us that he would interview me first so my wife can stay with the children outside then he would call her and I would go out to stay with them. I apologized because we brought the children with us and explained that we could not find any one in Istanbul to help us take care of them. He was so understanding. I went inside with him and he explained that after he finishes the interview he would either give me the CSQ or would reject me and explain why. He repeated this part in English in order to make sure that I understood it very well. He then started and it was all in French. He asked for my education certificates so I showed him my comparative evaluation and I felt that he was happy that I have it. He asked me how long it took me to get it and I told him more than a year. He then saw my transcript of grades and my university certificate. He wants the originals of course. He then asked for my wife's documents and saw what they are equal to in Quebec education system because we don't have a comparative evaluation for her. Then he asked for my certificates of experience and wanted the accurate dates for each position I had. When I showed him my contracts he found it easier. I also showed him my payslips and he had a quick look at them. He then asked me what I am planning to work if I go to Quebec so I talked about all the possibilities. I showed him the job offers I found that suit me and showed him my correspondence with some companies. I also showed him the information that I got from emploiquebec about my profession and that I know everything about it in Quebec. He asked me if I know if I need to join an order in Quebec so I showed him my correspondence with the order and all the information about joining it. He was checking all the time my application that I sent them three years ago. I told him that I have an updated one with me but he said that he is going to ask me about everything and he did't take it. He just asked me if i signed the financial autonomy form and i gave it to him. I also told him that I have my cv with me. He said that he would take it later but he didn't. He did't ask for any birth certificate and just got our bio data from the passports. He asked me if my wife can be interviewed in French before he calls her but i told him that her French is not good and that he can interview her in English, so he said that there is no need to interview her in this case. He then asked me to check the spelling of our names on his computer screen and printed the CSQs. I could not believe my eyes. I could not believe that I got them in my hands. He then talked in English and explained to me what to do next and how to apply for the visa. I thanked him and told him we will meet in Quebec. He said yes of course and told me to salut him if I meet him in the metro. Here I remembered lemans and thought that this must be the same interviewer that he had. He asked where I live and I found out that he knows the neighborhoods in Damascus very well. He said that he used to come to Damascus to do the interviews there.
Now I will have to start preparing my visa application with the needed documents and I hope I won't have to wait for 10 more years.
For you guys who are waiting for the interview, there is no need to worry, just be prepared well and thing will go smoothly inshallah.
This is everything and I hope I didn't forget anything. Good luck to you all.
