Dear mkshah ... You have to be prepared for this option ...
Some applicants have been asked to prove their funds during interviews via bank statements or other official methods ... and others passed their interviews without asking by the immigrant officer for that ..
But in my opinion you should put the amount of money that you've mentioned in the funds contract in a bank account, and extract the statement when the interview will take place, and tell the interviewer that you have a car (if this option exist), and show him the insurance papers + other papers etc ... and inform him that you'll buy it including all other assets and adding them to the bank amount (5000 or more)... After that you'll take everything with you for the first steps installation in Quebec... ;D
@ least this is how I am prepared for this ;D

Dear mft25 ... by salary slip you mean the paper recieved by the end of each month (from the company), and signed by our side on the total amount checked ? [so total of 12 papers/year]
Or the grid (tableau) related to the NSSF (Daman), but released by our compnay and holding our signature for 12 months total ? [so total of 1 paper/year of 12 signatures]

They need to get 2/3 votes of the parlement of quebec to run polls voting, so she got about 33 % and jean Got 30% and the rest for other parties.
She is doing lot of good things for Quebec people, when polls stars the need 50.1% to separate
Its so easy to get it all fracophone people will vote for it accept others,you can take example Lebanese if they give them French passport they have no problem as long as algerian moroccan Tunisian and French from France all together will vote for it,
Quebec popullation about 8 million they pay about 60 billion dollar for federal as taxes.
Rest of Canada like Alberta about million lol

Guys read history of Quebec you'll understand it, many civil wars between then.
It is the way to separate,lot of things going on, they might make Montreal as free city free zone city,so when news papers writes about that it means serious
Thats why the interviewer officer wanna make sure u stay in Quebec because he is in the plan to separate, if he was from federal he will not care.

Recently federal took a part of businesses and important things from Quebec they knew about the separation.

Guys i got today my TCFQ results : C2 in listening and B1 in speaking (i was waiting for B2 or C1 in speaking part :'()
Anyway, in my papers sent to the embassy in 2010, i declared a C2 in listening and C1 in speaking.
Do you advise me to send the 'attestation' as an update to my file?

Mike ... good job man ... in my opinion, if u think that u have a strong file and there is a chance to got waived, so send them asap .. otherwise keep the results till the interview because it's ur time now ...

But I don't think this separation will be done or been accepted, @ least from the english side,
Cz Quebec is the bigger province and as lemans said Canada is collecting a huge amount of taxes each year, Quebecoises peoples' taxes hold 2 divisions, 1 for Quebec and 2 for Canada ...
So after all I think this is a hard decision ...

Thats the fight in Quebec they need 2/3 to vote for polls meane 83 or 125, she already has 54 seats where 29 required.

when they vote for it, the people will vote, if 50.000001% want to separate it will happen ;D
