I was there as a student then because of personal reasons I had to come back after my last year.

i totally understand, but you said before "the last year" did you know that you could have applied after 1 year?

My friend got waived and got his CSQ after two months from applying ..
And now he is waiting for his medicals since 30 months .. (his VO was damascus @ 1st place)
Hope this won't happen to us after we get our CSQ :

Then we will get medicals fast

coz all cases were stuck, who are wating for interview spend long time
who are waiting for medical long time

Hahahahah well I think this is true man ....
I think the general formula for immigration now is :
Canadian immigration = 3+ years to all ... it doesn't matter before or during or after the interview or waived ... All the applicants must wait the total time ;D

When you are in the waiting list, that's mean the range time is 6 months ....

can any tell me how to apply canada study permit visa as i am working in oman but i am pakistani national, as there is no canadian embassy in oman, as i check from website , for many GCC countries including omani residents also have to apply from Abudabhi, but i want to know what is procedure for those who are not omani national and working in oman .

These cases in other offices like HK office not Damascus . Damascus has huge backlog delay with very slow processing so my friend your interview date will be after 8 month from waiting list time
