Listen, I want to tell you that I will be engaged this summer to lady from Montreal, all my information is correct, maybe I will go & maybe not, thats why I applied, but I didnt know these stories, until my friends landed there, some came back & some cant get job to come back.

Just think about, your immigrating for better live in Canada, right? What you'll do if you go and find its difficult to earn & live.
we in Gulf have high salaries, so we are too worry to loose what we have in hand, and not to find.

OsamaR was living there, he agrees me in general about everything, but he never mention it because he doesnt want headache.

your happy with that link of salaries 42,000$ you pay 19% taxes income & 15% TVA goods taxes, so these are 35% 2275$/month will remain, I will not tell you they tell me they paying 50%

you better read well & ask someone who is living there, dont ask relatives, because relatives will tell you nice things because they feel lonely they need relatives. ask friends who you trust.

That car insurance is for canadians with driving license since years. but as for you, you have to pay 250$/month for few years because you have new driving license. Same as in UAE all the guys in Gulf knows it. ask a friend who owns car, how much he pays per hour during winter to keep the car heats 8)

my grandma in quebec she was sick to make surgey, they gave her appointment after 3 weeks ??? its doesnt happen in 3rd & 10th world

I came to gulf because no taxes ;D as all come to gulf, and I am not saying its the best but it seems better than Canada

If life in gulf is like machine, its the same in Canada

The link for salaries no that much correct, you'll be surprised, thats scaling/grading system from government but they dont pay a lot.

Did you search for school for your kids? to pay 17,000$ /year for each kid ? ;D

http://www.stgeorges.qc.ca/admissions/fee-schedule-2012-2013

Dont tell me you'll send them to official school, my aunt didnt put her kids in offical school since teaching not as good as private

Why you want to immigrate to send your kids to official school?
maaan I just saw your above post.. dude I never said that I agree with you about everything in general!!! You have few right information and many wrong information.. As a mater of fact I don't agree in most of the things you say. I just don't show it explicitly...

Job market is hard everywhere, if anyone tries to move to gulf nowadays then finding a job would be as hard as it is in Canada and in many places all over the world..

Hi every one and I wish all of you best of luck…Special thanks to ricoluna and everyone else for your support and assistance. We got the CSQ and I cannot believe it. We had also submitted our second file after a terrible week of running almost everywhere to get all papers needed for the Federal part. Thanks god after 2 years of waiting, 1 and half year studying French I got it.
I was at hotel lobby by 8:00AM sharp, the 1st officer who was a women entered the hotel at 8:15am saying bonjour and we replied bonjour. The 2nd officer who was an African man entered at 8:20 am with no bonjour at all .At 8:30 the African officer called another lady and we were in shock, i thought my email was not delivered. Finally she came at 8:45am and called my name and I answered in French as ricoluna recommended. We started the interview by checking the passports for all family members. Birth dates and places for my husband and myself in French. Then, she asked for my university certificate as well as my marks. My work experience was checked too. She asked for slip of salary as a proof of work where the bank statement is not sufficient. She asked for the social security card and social security statements for me and my husband. She asked after that about how i speak English fluent and that was the only question in English. Then, she asked questions about my preparation for Québec like job offers, schools for my kids, day care for my youngest, houses and where do we intend to live there. She checked our French certificates (Delf a2 for myself, delf a1 for my husband) she appreciated that we learned French as a vital tool in Quebec as well as our two kids who are enrolled in the French institution. I believe that worked to our side. I spoke French for about 50 minutes, by other words our interview was conducted in French.
Be ready for the interview by learning French, search about jobs in Quebec, schools and houses. Get your original copies. Make sure that your spouse speaks French too and intends to work there when you move.
Be yourself, honest, and well prepared, speak French and show them that you are ready and capable to overcome all the challenges.
Best of luck for everyone

For all the others : the black men officer that is holding interview in Istanbul..his name is Didier Gaba and he is a very professional person. He is kind but very fair..do not be afraid if u'll have interviews with him.He worked in Damascus office and knows all rules in Middle East..u just have to speak french and show interest and dedication about ur immigration project. Dear RICOLUNA
Congratulations i wish you get medical soon also. Today I sent my second file ,I hope I receive my file number after one month like you . I do not know what is the speed of process in Amman or Beirut office. I read many threads complaining of delay for one or two years . I hope it is not the same for us. I asked in Amman some sources they said around 1 to 1.5 years which I feel it so long. so good luck for all of us
Dear mft25,

First of all, congratulations for the CSQ. I wish you all the best with the federal process too.

May I ask what your nationality is? I am just asking because I have heard that the applications for Syrians are put on hold and I would like to see if any of our friends who have or had an interview is Syrian.

Thanks
