Quebec 2010 Applicants Damasucs Visa office

Dear Ricoluna & Leman207,

I had my TCF test on June 28th...in da Comprehension de Orale I could only understand the 1st 10 qs of 30...Rest all the audio was so fast plus couldnt understand what she was speaking...In the Spoken part I answered 3 ques out of 6...but then she asked me things which I didnt understand...after the test I asked her what my level was and she said Intermediate beginner...I am not sure whether I will get A2 or not...[size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt]but then I wanted to confirm again my Chances if I apply, as i saw a post saying that for singles the Points have been upgraded to 59[/size][/size][/size]

Age : 27
Education : Bachelor's in Mechanical Engg(4 years)
Work Experience : 6 years (2.5 Years in India and 3.5 in UAE) Currently working in Abu Dhabi
IELTS sCOREValid Till September 2012)Test score for IELTS is like this:

Listening - 8
Reading - 7.5
Writing - 6.5
Speaking - 6.5

Overall - 7.0.
TCF - Hoping an A2 in Spoken and written

That was wrong info , its still 55 points... I dont know everyone talking about new rules & new points.

unfortunately they changed some rule... I dont know what applies on you, whats your profession? read again rules..

They closed CSQ new applications till April 2013 some date not sure, but its open for some professions
Even they closed Federal new applications till January 2013.

I dont know if applicants who get csq in 2012 can apply to fedral ... hope they will not cancel our applications as they did for applications b4 2008 ;D

Why do they do this ? Well I have faced this several times...last time when I wanted to apply for FSW...They removed Engineers frm the list...and nw i don't knw what...

For engish you get 5 points,
for french depends... maybe you get A2???

A1 = 1 point A2 = 3 points B1 = 4 points..... rest not for you

Apply,,, wait 4 weeks for your french then apply... & keep working on french,

Lets say now interviews are for applications 2010 August your application will be 2012 August

2years are enough to become good in french ;D then your interview will come

Yes mike , its true, UAE visas processed in london office, it take maximum 10 months,
Lebanon is proccessed in Beirut, jordan amman , it takes 22 months.

See MEF they are in Qatar, they will land soon.

22 months... i would gladly settle for 32 months! it's been 30 months for me anyway

I think they will finish these applications faster since they have suspended the admission of any new federal application

Dears , all old applications will be proceed by old grill not the new one, so do not panic.
For u dear ur points are : (10+6) + 8 + 16 + french if A1 A2 u get 4 points ( let's calculate like this) + 5 english ( he can give u 6 as well) + 1 financial = 50 points ...u need 55 to obtain ur visa...i don't know if this days they give points for adaptability...definitly they will not give u 5 points for adaptability....so for me ur only chance is to obtain a higher score in french ...u need B1 level to obtain 8 points so u can have 54 points before interview. Otherwise u'll not obtain ur CSQ.
I don't mean to disappointing u but u must be prepared.

I have not applied yet...Even if I get A2 and Apply...will my application be accepted???Probably I can sit for French again after they accept my application...Please let me know...the reason is my IELTS is valid till Sept 2012 and I dont want to give IELTS again and waste moeny on that....Do please let me know...

Affy u can check ur chances here with an online evaluation...for me and with the new rules..i don't know if u alone and with minimum french can be accepted.
I don't know well the points for new applicants....but better check ur chances in the link i gave u

AFFY dear i am afraid u can not send ur aplication now, couse they have stop to receive applications...till end March 2013.
Improve ur french, u have enough time now, by January 2013 u'll be able to obtain a B2 in french and apply.
