I'm an Algerian, B eng electronics, Grade 11,90 /20.
in this thread, I want from people who got admission in colleges to share their experience from getting admitted to visa approval, please friends give us an idea, because there are lot of sudents wishing to pursue a master degree in order to get the PR easilly but don't have the required grade by universities.
I've talked lately someone throgh facebook, he is living in Montreal right now and he study at UQAM (Univeristé de Québec A Montréal), I asked him about admission Electrical engineering programs, he told me it's true as they mentioned in their web site, they require high grades and give them priority. He advised me to apply to "College LaSalle" because the have easy admissions and they help students with the PR after graduation and I didn't find programs in my field there. but after googling I've found lot of colleges offering good programs in Electronics related fields with full time or part time.
I don't mean that I won't try, but as I've read in these College's websites, they don't have high admission requirements right ? and also the tuition fees are low comparing to universities.
But I'm afraid from the visa refusal !!! any one applied and got the visa ?? give me advices please
