The payment form has two options:

Immigration consultant:
1.Application for recognition
2.Renewal of recognition

Which one of them do I have to choose?

What does that mean ? Should we send original IELTS Certificate or Notarized Copy ?

This forum is really helpful and I was trying to calculate the points for myself.
Could someone please help to calculate the score? For point # 1.2 & 6.2?

1. Education Level -
1.1 Bachelor's = 10
1.2 Areas - I have done Bachelor in Instrumentation Engineering from India.
I have not seen any separate for the above in the AOT list, but it comes under Electrical Engineering
- Can someone please help How much points will be awarded?

2. Experience - 5+ yrs INTL(India) in Software field (Software Test Specialist) = 8

3. Age - @35 = 16

4. Language - IELTS (L8, R7.5, S7, W6.5) = 6 (Iam really surprised)

5. Stay and Family in Quebec = 0

6. Spouse
6.1 (12+3 yrs Bachelors in BUsiness Admnistration) = 3 pints
6.2 Areas of training - 8 yeas in I.T field- How much points?
6.4 Age @33 = 3 points

7. Child - my son is 4 years - 4 points

Hi Lammawitch, i need to clarify on thing if you can comment on that please.

My birth certificate is in a format that it contain the info in both Enlgish and Urdu languages (both languages have same information), so do i need to get it traslated even then or i can skip that?

i am asking because the translation info in the Quebec website static that "Any document or PART OF DOCUMENT is in other language"... so this document contains other language but that also contains the English of same text.

Please consider this as a question that is not answered yet

French is not mandatory.

If you wish to get points for French, you need to take an approved exam (list in link below) & reach at least B2 level.

If you wish to get points for English, you need to take IELTS exam and reach CLB level 5.

Note that you can apply without taking the exams, or with lower scores, but you won't get points for language in those cases.

I can confirm on this, they can charge CC without CVV2, for my Credit Assement CES (University of Toronto) charged my card and they also did not asked for CVV2, on response to my query they said that they do it in some manual way so i do not need to worry about that.

Don't worry about it. CVV is not necessary for all transactions; believe me: if immigration Qc needed it they would ask for it! !!

Dear Lammawitch,

I hope you had seen credit card payment form named "paiement-an-dynamique" which we have to include with main application if I wish to pay application fee through credit card.

But this form asked for only card no, cardholder name and expiry. No CVV no (passcode behindcredit card) is requested. How can they draw money digitally without CVV?

Do you or anyone have any info about credit card $ deduction process?

For Quebec do i need to do Credential Assessment of my educational documents or just send the educational Certified True Copies with the Stamp of Notary Public.

And about Experience. How i will give Proof of Legalty of my work experience in Pakistan in private jobs.

And i have did MPhil in Small Medium Enterprises which is not showing in Education Section.How will i get the points for this. Total of 18 Years of Education.

Thank you for making this useful topic. I have several questions about filling the forms and I would be grateful if you could please help me.

1- In filling application form (A-0520), if we run out of space for certain questions like places we have live, or diploma we have achieved, should we attach a blank page with question number, or print the same page again and fill the remaining information?

2- In the Financial Contract Form (A-0522), it has stated to fill the form in ink, at first question, but yet it is a dynamic form and could be filled by computer. Should we fill all of it with ink and by hand?

3- For sending the package, could we staple each document separate pages, and separate each set of documents with the transparent paper cover?

I am applying for my brother, He has a wife and a kid, He scored 58 and deemed eligible. Despite meeting the minimum points I have few queries, since he does not have any knowledge of french can this be the refusal point? I know french is not mandatory but I don't know how they look at it?
1- Applicant does not know French;
2- Spouse does not know French;
3- Relatives (me his brother, live in Sask) live in another province;
4- French is mandatory to work in Quebec;

Please advise.

IELTS has to be valid (less than two years old) at the time of application submission.

As per the processing times for india, it will take 40-50 months.
What about the IELTS scores. IELTS is valid for only 2 years.

What happen to application if IELTS expires when application is under process.
Will application still be valid or application will be rejected?

In the question number 12. It says "Name of diploma obteined" . What kind of information we should to type here? I know that baccalauréat for Quebec means Bachelor but for Highschool and middle school I don't know what word put there.

Could your help me in this?
