QSW immigrants working in Ottawa and living in Gatineau

First my status:
QSW applicant waiting for federal PR, whose application was submitted in Jan, 2017. I may got a job offer I like very much from an Ottawa company.

Here are two questions:
1. Before getting PR as a work permit (3-year post-graduation work permit) holder, can I work in Ottawa and living in Gatineau?

2. After getting PR, can I still work in Ottawa and living in Gatineau, without violating the intention of residing in Quebec?

I've read on an other forum that it is possible. Maybe some other people can confirm.
