Hello Guys,
My application for QSW to federal is in process. I have submitted medical results, they have been received and now I have been asked to submit birth certificates
. I submitted birth certificates which I got from Indian embassy here in Montreal. But they say they do not accept those. They need the birth certificates from native country. It is also written in the notice that they would accept secondary school records which show name of applicant, date of birth and name of parents. The school certificate has my name and date of birth but there is no parent's name. In India, we have been using school certificate as birth proof. I dont have birth certificate which we get from panchayat/municipality etc.
Do you think they would accept school certificates? What are your experiences regarding this? Please share. Also do I need to submit original birth proofs ( birth or school certificate) by mail or can fax them? In the letter of notice, it is first written that I should submit originals by mail. Then below it is also written that I can fax them. They don't make it clear. And why did they ask documents now after medicals? They should have done it before it. Also they give me limit of 30 days to submit it. Later they write that I should submit within 60 days of the letter. Why do they confuse so much?
Please give your opinions. Thanks.
