QSW 2014 Timelines

Hi All,

I could not find a thread for QSW 2014 applicants hence starting one.

I had filed my CSQ application on 8-Jan-2014 and yesterday i could see my Credit Card being debited on 11-May-2914. When i had filed the application i was in Montreal for 2 years but now I have returned back to India. Do I have to inform the Immigration Department after I receive my file number?

How many days does it take to get the File number after the payment is cleared?
How many days does it take to get the AOR?
Since now I am in India can the interview be waived off?

Hello I am new here too so forgive any missing or poor response. Well I don't know if you have to inform them but here is what I did. I filed mine while in the US then i traveled home. I was called for an interview so I traveled back to the USA. It is hard to set the number of days since it goes with the work volume of the month. I got the AOR two months after filing. The interview is case based. I met all the points and high french proficiency but still got interviewed. My friend could hardly make a sentence in French and got the CSQ MAILED to her. I got the CSQ in October, 2013. I think it will be wise to simply wait for them to indicate whether they want to interview you or not then indicate you would like to change offices. The risk is it might cause a delay in having your file transferred to the new office and setting up a new available date to accommodate your interview.

To request a change to your application for a selection certificate or that of your spouse, complete the Change to an application for a selection certificate (Dynamic PDF, 82 Kb) form and return it to us along with the necessary documents within 30 days after the change.

Thanks for helping me out. I am not able to send the change in application form to the immigration department because the form asks for a reference and file number and i have not got both. SO once i get the numbers i will send them the change in app form
