they reduced points 22 to 6 in welding trade.

it seems practically impossible for me to compensate 16 points even if i reach at C1 level.

If you have not received anything aside from the aor you fall under the new rules released jan 2015. No way you can check your status for csq, it is not necessary to call them either. There is a procedure to follow on how to update your file and you can see it in their website...

Hello!

Once we have secured the CSQ, how sure is the approval of the immigrant applicant - federal stage? I've read that it's only police and medical clearances at this point, and that Canadian Immigration is not really that particular with Quebec nominees as compared to other provinces' nominees. Is this true? So does that mean that if a CSQ holder doesn't have a criminal record and a costly, debilitating disease, approval is pretty much 100% and that it's just a matter of time before we get the visa?

Thank you in advance to those who would share their experiences and/or thoughts.

Send all requirements plus canadian bank draft in March 2014. Recvd file number in August 2014. Waiting for the interview to date.

Dear all, need your help

I'm QSW applicant since 2012, Got AOR in 2013. I recently received email from BIQ Montreal with subject: Obligation to provide the documents requested. BIQ ask me to provide these documents:
1. Certified copy of all certificates or diplomas, beginning with high school diploma; and original translations of all certificates and diplomas.
My questions are:
• my high school and bachelor diploma are not in English, so does it mean I have to submit the certified copy of diplomas in their original language/not translated?
• Some of my diplomas were certified several years ago.Is it fine if I submit them/not the recent certified diplomas?
• I obtained my master degree from Australia, can I certify its diploma in Australian embassy here in my country?

2. Certified copy of transcript issued by the educational institution corresponding to all diplomas (except high school), for all the years of study of study leading to these degrees; Attention! All the courses taken for each year of study must be clearly indicated in the transcript.
My question is:
• My bachelor degree transcrip doesn't clearly indicated the courses I took for each year of study, it only shows all courses/subjects I took for whole study period leading to degree. How do I solve this problem?

3. Original or certified copy of proof of social security contributions or proof of payment of income tax to certify the legalty of the professional experience acquired during five years preceding the filing of application. Attention! All documents certifying the legality of professional experience must be issued by government authority. Documents issued by an employer or accountant are not accepted.
My questions are:
• Tax office in my country (Indonesia) doesn't provide proof of income tax payment. Any similar situation in your own country and similar experience like me? How's the solution? Any Indoensian here? Please give me advise

Other questions are:
• Since early 2013 my office changed its name. How can I inform BIQ about this?
• Any forms that I should fill in?

That'all for the time being, I really appreciate any assistance, success to all of you, thanks very much.

thank you very much. applied thru the haiyan processing. hopefully yours will come soon.

This might give you guys a clearer picture.

Things to get done as soon as you arrive:
1. Get your SIN done, go to Services Canada. Then you can apply for jobs. Update your resume to Canada's style. A good cover letter is always a good idea.
2. It is always good to start living from a place near or with your family or friend.
3. Find a job, get a bank account after that. Or whatever suits you.
4. Get your IDs ready, license and insurance for driving, medical insurance.
5. Get to know the place really good. There are always hidden doors of opportunities behind the scene. Socialize!

For any other advice, message me, I would try to get back to you guys. Thanks
