Immigration Quebec updated their processing time. Apps within Quebec from Nov '12 now being finalised = 15 months delay.

My dear, the delay for your file to be opened is 4-6 months. Some people's owns get opened even after 8 months

So just be calm, as yours' only 4 months now. Just pray for it to be opened sometime soon.

Hello friends,
I am new to this forum, if anyone knows answers to my questions please help me.

I applied for CSQ in Jan 2014 in Montreal. I am working in Montreal as Aerospace Engineer with Valid CAQ and LMO ( for aeropsace engineers) from a Canadian Employer. They are both valid for 3 years up to 2016 FEB.

Below are my points
Education 12
Area of Training 6
Validated Employment Offer 10
Work Experience 8
Age 16
Language Proficiency 5
Stay and Family in Quebec 8
Spouse's Characteristics 6
Children 4
Financial Self-Sufficiency 1

My questions are

1) My office is in ST-Eustache and in order to get the Maximum 10 points under the validated employment, CAQ and LMO are enough or I need any special document from my employer.
2) Do I recieve the proiority processing because I have a permanenr Job offer from my employer? ( I submited the letter from employer that my job offer is permanent and on direct basis).
3) I am taking french classes now, is there any chance of interview waiver because I have got enough points?

You will get it after a month after they charged your credit card.

First upon Congratulation. I think now they are giving AOR to those who has applied on September and october.

I have sent on 19th November, hence may be maximum another 1 month for AOR for me.

Hi..i got my file number in April 2013. But i dint receive any update about my CSQ till now. I already passed A1 A2 of DELF. I wanted to increase my french proficiency to B1 & B2. But there is not any motivation for learning french. Now m waiting for the interview call. AOT is Nursing....Thanx

I have a question. I applied for CSQ in Nov 2013, expecting AOR within a month. The question is I had sent a demand draft for the amount to be paid.
I have heard that the validity of demand draft is only for 3 months. And these guys taking time for AOR is 4-6 months. So will my DD expire? I come to know from Bank that DD still not encashed. and yet to have response from bank about the validity period of DD with dollar amount. Now it has been already 5 months passed, will my DD get expired? or international DD with mentioning canada branch within the DD has validity of more than 3 months?

If your DD reached its expiration before it was en cashed they will send you an email informing you to send a new one..Don't worry once your DD was en cashed you will receive an AOR..
