I am afraid you may need to write the visa office that your medicals will clock a year soon.
By principle, you're expected to have landed canada before your medicals makes a year.

Dear Kolemm,

Hi, I've already contacted the immigration and notified the situation but seems like they really don't care if I have to go through medical again and pay extra money.. lolz ;-p

Thanks for reminding me anyways... take care and best of luck to you!

Can some one clarify following

Candidates who wish to submit an application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec can continue to do so after March 31, 2014, according to new rules effective April 1, 2014. These new rules pertain to the maximum number of applications that will be accepted over the next year under the various economic immigration programs.

Good news to all those who were worrying if the QSW program will stop after March 31st. If you're still in the process of gathering your documents, go ahead and do that and then submit even if it is more than March 31st.

This is crazy! Personally I think it would have been wise for them to clear all pending applications before receiving more files. There are people who are waiting for QSW for more than two years . I really don't get their priority. Being more effective in processing the files or just receiving files and money and waiting years to deliver it. :o

Hi.. i have a question. In the document checklist, i checked the box for payment of fees.. i thought i had to check that even though i paid via demand draft. later on, i realize, that that portion is if the applicant is paying via credit card and with accompanying credit card form. what will happen if i checked that part even though i paid via demand draft?

thank you all for any kind reply.

My dear friend we just have to dance according to their tone. We are mere observers. All decisions come from them. Let's only pray that God makes dem remember our files soonest!!!

Dear Irisroyale,
Please do consider getting tefaq in hand before applying, although it isn't something you can't apply without it even if you are not a french native but nowadays for qsw french language requirements have drastically increased and people are getting rejected by interviewer.

My advice to you is to learn french at intermediate level. .. (recommendation)... best of luck
Thanks! Actually, I have just taken the Delf B1 exam. The listening part was especially difficult. Good for you, you already have CSQ. The waiting period is so long (applied since Nov 2012). I hope they'll waive my interview soon.

@Ramakanth, I think your question has been dealt with indirectly.

No News on this Page? :o

Guess Quebec is waiting for 2025 to send us CSQs :P

Attention Please!!!!!!!!!

1 st next April, new rules on the maximum number of requests that will be received by the Department will enter into force and be applicable until 31 March 2015.
The Department will receive a maximum of 6,500 applications for a selection certificate under the regular Federal Skilled Worker Program.
By limiting the number of requests received, the Department may treat a greater number of pending requests and reduce processing times.

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/fr/informations/modalites-gestion.html

Indeed, this is a good news for previous applicants whose applications are pending. Because for the new term they have reduced to 6500 skilled worker applications from 20000 of 2013-14.

They are interested as quoted above to treat the pending files and reduce processing time.

Hope for the best!!!
