QSW 2013 APPLICANTS,LETS NETWORK N SHARE TIMELINES!

I just wanna ask for the mailing address for the QSW program application.
Where do I mail it? I've been surfing the net for couple of hours now, still can't find it. Thank you so much!!!

I have another question, is the RLE considered an internship?? I am a nurse and I am applying for the QSW program. Do i still need to submit that attestation letter to prove that my RLE was undertaken during the context of my studies?

Hi there!

I applied in my PR application (Federal) Feb 2013 based on the situation that I got my CSQ in January 2013, medical and police certificates are done last year April, RPRF already submitted around June, additional documents around November and ECAS status changed to 'In Process' last month i.e. Feb 2014.

What's next for me.. is landing request and landing.. hopefully soon!

So, it does take some time to get to the final stage man... anyway best of luck!

I am planning to apply for QSW this month but i only have english test result, no french.
Can i apply from outside quebec? am from Nigeria.
Is it not too late to apply for Selection Certificate?

Does the below cott. frm quebec site affects my condition?

"Candidates who do not wish to submit an attestation of results recognized by the Ministère or do not wish to use the points awarded for knowledge of written French must specify this in their application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec by marking the appropriate box on the form."
Pls help its urgent

Dear Owolarafe,

Things have got changed, I guess they have made TeFAQ compulsory and I recommend that as well but if you belong to some place where french is native language or you have been studying in french you might get considered.

SyedZaidi, your guess is absolutely wrong. TeFAQ is NOT compulsory for initial application . QSW program till now remains a point based system, once the an applicant meets the minimum required points of 51 for a single applicant and 57 for a couple,he or she can submit his/her application package WITH OR WITHOUT IELTS and FRENCH LANGUAGE test result though 57 and 63 respectively are needed before CSQ will be issued (the extra 6 points an applicant can get during the interview) . If an applicant is not submitting French language test result (TeFAQ ) with his/her application package, the only thing required of him/her is to tick the boxes in Questions number 15 in the CSQ main application form ( which states that he/she is not submitting language test results with the application package).
The above does not mean the applicant and the accompanying spouse (if any ) should not study French,French is mandatory for anyone who wants to live and work in Quebec because it is the official language of the Quebec province ,hence an applicant's French language abilities/skills will be tested on the day of CSQ interview.

Dear Owolarafe, you can apply without French test result if you have the minimum required points of 51 and 57 for singles and couples respectively. You can publish your data and that of spouse here ( if any) here so we can help you calculate your points.
Data like profession/ degree obtained,age, years of experience,number of children, IELTS band score etc.

Dear talktome,
You can not say that I am absolutely wrong because if you go through the differences in the versions of application forms, you'll find that around year 2010- early 2011 forms doesn't have any necessary requirements of french even they just ask if you have just started learning it as a beginner's level but now if you go through the forms they have added it clearly and that will increase your points as well.

Things I am telling you are based on my personal experiences and as I have been through this situation till I got to the interview so I will always ask others to don't risk your efforts if you aren't confident enough and play safe until and unless you are having a good score on points based system.

Bosschips, You are right . It was a typographical error... 49 for singles and 57 for applicants with spouse.
Where in MICC 's website is it stated that French test result is mandatory and must be submitted with application package?

Dear Irisroyale,
Please do consider getting tefaq in hand before applying, although it isn't something you can't apply without it even if you are not a french native but nowadays for qsw french language requirements have drastically increased and people are getting rejected by interviewer.

My advice to you is to learn french at intermediate level. .. (recommendation)... best of luck

I am afraid you may need to write the visa office that your medicals will clock a year soon.
By principle, you're expected to have landed canada before your medicals makes a year.

thank you very much for the info sir! i submitted my docs last dec.2013.. hopefully to get csq without interview though i did not submit any french test..
