Hi Friends

for french language test which exam is good TEF or TEFaq? did tefaq has reading and writing modules?
I think TEF has written modules as well and accepted for Federal Skilled worker as well.

The points for all areas of training are awarded based on BS. Advanced degrees in any AOT give the same points as BS. For level of education criteria advanced degrees like MS/PhD give 12 points regardless of the field. If for example your AOT grants 12 points for Electrical Engineering then you'll have overall of 24 ( 12 for AOT and 12 for educational level).

Thank you so much for the information, Ievgen!

I am now more clear about this.

Best,

Lopaka

Hi! I'm a nurse and sorry to inform you that I cannot afford to have an agency because their fees are too big. The reason why I join in this forum is to clarify some things that I do not know. Hope all of you guys in this forum can help me...

I'd like to ask if how many points do I really have. I don't have an agency or consultant that's why I am worried if I'm really qualified or not.

Here is my case:
1) education: Bachelor of Science in Accountancy ( 4 years)
Master's in Business Administration ( 36 units earned)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2 years only since I'm a second courser, so only major subjects)
2) AOT: Nursing
3) Work experience as a nurse: 2 years full time as a staff nurse
4) Age: 34
5) Language: IELTS ( S=7.0, W=6.5, L & R=5.5)
6) status: married and no kids yet
7) Spouse education:
1) Bachelor of Science in Economics (4 years)
2) Computer Science (41 units earned)
3) Master's in Business Administration 36 units earned and still ongoing. Expected date to finish will be on March 2014
Note: computer programmer - work experience for more than10 years
Spouse age: 36
8) no relatives in Quebec
9) plan to enroll French class this coming Sept.

Please help me with this...thanks in advance...

You must fill in your IELTS Score (e.g. 7.5) in each of the ff:

Oral Comprehension = Listening
Oral Production = Speaking
Written Comprehension = Reading
Written Production = Writing

Hope this helps :)

0 points for language before new rules, and now also 0 points by the new rules. I think you still have the same 58 points, no change in language points.

It's better to submit a copy of contract in addition if you have it, but there's no need to notarize it. Work letter and income tax return are required documents. The contract is a supplementary material.

Guys. Help. Is there any official news released by the Quebec Govt regarding the number of applicants they already received since Aug 1? Is there any truth that 13,000 slots have already been filled up since Aug 1? How true is this? One agency told me about this and I dont know if I should believe it or not. Maybe its just their way of making me speed up my application. Thanks a lot!

Dear seniors,

Can you guys please explain the french language points details of spouse under the new rule?
(I'm wondering whether spouse also need minimum B2 level to get any points or not...)
My spouse have only DELF A2...
