Stylove, there is no way to check e-status online..for Quebec part, in federal part you can check it out.
Am I right seniors..?

Hey Jenalby, one short question for you. Someone told me that when u get a file number, there's a possibility of checking an "e-status" online using your file number, so you can see info about your file. He is a nurse and said on his e-status it was precised he will be treated under priority.

Was it the same for you? Just curious to know so that i can ascertain its the same thing for all RNs?

Thanks a lot Stylove..

Do anyone know what are the chances of getting rejected after getting file no.
After getting file no. if they find any missing documents related to education or anything then do they reject file or they will ask for it?

Congrats Janki u got a file number. That is some good news like I said, everyone's gonna be smiling this month. Your file number might only give you a clue on processing times, and interview calls or so. I don't think it has nothing to do with priority processing. Your AOT makes you know your file will be treated as priority. WHat's yours?

Well, i think in some cases, the IO might want to call your employer for verification, during interview, if he/she finds something not too clear or understandable on your work exprience documents, or if he doubts something. So what i'ma advice you to do is to just iron out anything that you think might cause any problems if the employer is called.

However, a few cases get their employers called at the federal stage. So just try to be on the safe side and assume they gonna call!

4 months was wonderful for you!

More luck!!! ;)

Hi Stylove,

Thanks for the link. I can't find HR under the regulated professions and I was informed earlier that HR is a regulated profession in Quebec. Could you kindly shed more light on this?

Thank you

Jenalby i was told that by the member "pepe" on this forum. I was also trying to ask a few persons again to confirm. You can do well to PM him and confirm what he told me. Let me hear from you then. For your own file, when receiving your AOR were you told that your file will be processed as priority?

File number comes when they have received a COMPLETED application. No document's authenticity and details is verified at this point.

When your file number is already in your pockets, you know that your file will be studied carefully.

If there are any issues regarding the authenticity of the documents and other doubts, an interview will obviously be scheduled for you, and those issues will be addressed during the interview, after which the IO gives you a decision depending on his satisfaction to the answers to the querries presented by you(the applicant)

After getting the file number, if there are any extra documentation they need, they will precise that in your interview invitation and you will be asked to bring them along during the interview.

Hope that's ok 8)

Human Resources - It could be Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Coordinator/Administrator, Human Resources Business Partner, Performance Manager, Recruiter, Training Specialist etc

HR is regulated, because they have an order in Quebec that governs the practice of Human Resource Management in Quebec, and is made of more than 25000 members. So i think you should contact them and ask them your querries about registration in the order

Stylove,

did you finally send ''montreal'' an email?
any response, updates??

Oh yeah Rif I sent them an email and they asked me to call them and I did. The guy told me there is a very long queue and that I should be patient, and that when there is any info or update or file number for me, i will be informed. So i just rested my case and continue the waiting game, hoping for a possible CSQ without AOR....why can't I be amongst that few! :D

thanks for the concern, and hope u too are enjoying the game!!

CSQ without AOR? Why not? All things are possible!!!!

Well, be patient. The hard part is to be able to ascertain that your file is receiving attention; not just gathering dust in a corner of their drawer, and then receiving notification of missing documents, having the file returned after 31st July when nothing is really certain anymore.

I agree, the long wait is agonizing...I know first hand how it feels.
hopefully we will get a good response this month. As for me, i'll start getting worried when i go past the six-month mark without AOR.
Until then, all we can do is wait, and then wait..... ???

Rifiel,

You don't need to be worried, I got my AOR after 8 months.
