I don't get it at all about excluding your spouse. You have to honestly state whether or not you are married on the forms, if you lie, it is misrepresentation. I suggest you fully understand all the rules and regulations/forms and questions whether or not you are using a representative. Good Luck.

Yes Pippin Well said,

i need some info on birth certificate query as well
pls help

If you dont have birth certificate of your spouse then you can make an affidavit that will serve the purpose.

really hw can we make this cert...i mean i know for the passport we make an affidavit will that serve the purpose..really lot of pangaas in getting the cert i wish theres sime alternative

Hi, if you dont have a birth certificate , please try and include notarized copies of the school certificates that have DOB on it. Just an affidavit alone wont suffice. If your wife has a Drivers License, Income Tax cards etc, include these too. Combined with all this, mention in a note that these are in evidence for DOB.

VO are aware that in some countries, cities, registration of birth wasnt mandatory until sometime ago.

My wife does not have birth certificate. I have done the above..

No there should not be any panga in making affidavit, just search on this forum many people had submitted affidavit as a birth certificate replacement.

Agreed, try to provide as much proof as possible by submitting the docs having DOB.

@Crook123, I am sure you will have to take another IELTS test if you are not gonna wait for the old documents to arrive, since they need IELTS original copy........
