HI Folks

I want some help about filling IMM5444E form as they are some question that confused me:

Q.1 Date you became a permanent residence in Canada
Q.12 your current residential address in Canada
Q.14 your telephone no
Q.16 place you became a permanent residence
Q.19 address history for the previous 5 years
Q.20 work history for the previous 5 years
Q.21 Have you lived or traveled outside Canada in the last 5 yrs
Q.22 the residency obligation (which option to select)
For me those questions or the form for someone who is already in Canada and already did the landing not like my case where I am making the first landing.

And also according to the guide it said that we need to make the payment of 50 Canadian dollars and there is additional form called "the Supplementary Identification Form (IMM 5455)".

I am waiting for your highly appreciated replies.

Cheers,
Zaid

Hi Zaid, you dont have to fill anything in the form. It will be filled by the immigration officer at the time of landing.

Cheers...

Thank you very much for your reply, then why on the CIC website puts an instruction on filling this form. Another question is the picture has to be the same for the visa and COPR or does not matter.

Hi, that is when you reapply for the PR card in the case if it gets misplaced.
Your COPR picture will be the same used for your PR card. So you dont have to submit any additional picture.

Thanks Qorax could you please send me the link for the "goods to follow and accompanying goods Forms " as I realized there are two forms.
and also another question the goods that you are with you at the time of the landing do you need to duplicate them to the list of the goods to follow as I am planning to leave Canada and then coming back.

Cheers,
Zaid

1. You need the B4 http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/b4-eng.pdf 1 copy for goods accompanying and one for goods to follow. Note the check box ½ down the page.
2. The continuation is the B4a http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/b4a.pdf
3. No, the Goods accompanying are only counted once.

Thanks PMM for your reply, but still I am confusing for example in my landing next 2 days I will bring my Laptop do I need to put under accompanying or to follow and another important question is the first form is for the to follow or the second one and also you mentioned 1/2 which I did not get it. Another question my wife will bring some Jwelery and when we will leave Canada and coming back after few months she will for sure bring them again, is that ok and what we will want to write down in this case.

Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your help.

Think it through, you are carrying the laptop and jewelry when you enter, therefore they are goods accompanying. You only report them once. You can get a card from CBSA to show that the laptop and jewelry were imported. I don't know the no. ½ means half-way down the page there is a checkbox. You leave it blank on the Goods accompanying form and you check it on the GTF.
