qorax,

I have gone through your post at following link;
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t39578.0.html

And you have summarized it as following;

""
The Process in a Nutshell:

Stage-1: [CIO stage] Send Initial Apps+Processing Fees to CIO-NS > Qualitative Check > Issue of AOR+120 days Letter >

Stage-2: [CHC stage onwards] Send Full Docs+RPRF to the Local Visa Office > File on Queue > e-Cas: "Received by Visa Office" > Eligibility Check+PSDEC > Issue of 2nd AOR > Background Check > Issue of Additional docs Request [if any] > 1st BF'D > e-Cas: "In Process" > Send Addnl. Docs > Issue of Med Request > 2nd BF'D >

Stage-3: Meds Sent > e-Cas: "Medical Results Recd." > Issue of PPR* > Send Passport/s > Security Check > Visa/s Stamped > e-Cas: "Decision Made" >
*The Meds & PPR are sometimes 'clubbed' together.

Stage-4: Return of 'Stamped' Passport/s+COPR > Landing at the POE > e-Cas: "Completed".

""

I am curious to verify the bold text;

should not it be like
File on Queue > e-Cas: "Received by Visa Office" > Issue of 2nd AOR > Eligibility Check + PSDEC > Background Check >

instead of
File on Queue > e-Cas: "Received by Visa Office" > Eligibility Check+PSDEC > Issue of 2nd AOR > Background Check >

My intension is not to challenge your knowledge; I am just curious to know more about it; as my status is "Received by Visa Office" + I have got "2nd AOR".

Please advise.
Thanks.

P.S. What is PSDEC?

As u get your 2nd AOR it suggests that your Check against the MI List is completed & your supporting documentation has been found to be provisionally accepted.

Hi Qorax, Thanks for clarifying this. But can we be sure of this as most of ND AORs are dispatched the same day they receive the package?
