Hello Captain...
I am left with less than 42 hrs to board the plane...please advise (consider this as a high priority request)....
I am still not done with B4 form...read ur thread about B4 form 4 times, but still am confused...
You mention about making excel sheets and include details of various items in this way :- Sl No, Item Description, Quantity and Value in CAD...
Now please tell me...do I make these excel sheets just for my own analysis and use or do I have to annex these excel sheets along with my B4 form?? (if yes, will the BSO, take pains to stamp them all ?? )
Also (it is my view- please correct me if I am wrong)...Will it not take several pages if we start to enlist all our possessions?? for example 1 category...computer items and accessories :- could include :- Laptop with make and serial no., dvd's cd's, pen drives, mouse, keyboard, external hard drives, headphones + mic, speakers, router, laptop fan etc etc

PLEASE ADVISE...

Hi,

Don't worry, just carry two lists, one showing any costly/electronic/jewelry items you are carrying and one showing the goods you may bring in later, if you are planning to come back and undertake the permanent move later. There is no specified format, but seniors, especially Qorax, has suggested the formats which makes it easier for you and the Customs officer at the airport to fill up the necessary forms. In fact, if you have a good memory and can fill up the forms at the airport without the aid of such a list, that is fine too. However, if you have a nicely prepared printed list, the Customs Officer might even use it to fill it up himself for you too. He did so for me

Junner - one B4 form is sufficient. I had the one and asked for a copy for my own record and the customs chap went in and made a copy for me. I would not bother with so many copies as they do make copies. He made copies for the chap behind me too as he also asked.
