Just a note....i was in same boat - left Qatar and needed PCC, with CIC giving 13.3.16 deadline, and overseas Qatar consulate was not giving update on PCC request submitted locally....

I used an agent, rather a PRO firm, who helped me have PCC in a weeks time. So if anyone needs help, please contact me and i will be pleased to refer to them....they are professional, trustworthy and reputed...

I worked in Qatar for around 2.5 - 3 months . Do you think i will be required to submit the PCC ?
As per the requirement , i understand that you need to be in the country > 6 months in order to submit a PCC.
But just reconfirming from you folks.

I don't think so.....you are right there...just keep in mind that rule is 'cumulative 6 months'

hi ..I visited Qatar in business/visit visa on two occasions, which is valid only for 90 days and had to legally exit the country on the 90th day.
My period of stay was for 90 days during first visit, departed the country for 10 days and then I returned to stay there for 82 days...in both occasions I have the exit stamp on my passport where they terminate the business/visit visa..

I was not having a Resident Permit/Status in Qatar.

When I contacted the Qatar Embassy in New Delhi they told that Qatar Ministry gives PCC only for Resident and Work visa holders who have stayed in the country for more than one year..i have an email confirmation from the embassy in this regard..

So in this case could members please suggest me whats is my best course of action...

Very good that you have this email confirmation. You need to attach the scan copy of this email printout and attach LOE while submitting the PCCs for e-APR
