Just a note....i was in same boat - left Qatar and needed PCC, with CIC giving 13.3.16 deadline, and overseas Qatar consulate was not giving update on PCC request submitted locally....

I used an agent, rather a PRO firm, who helped me have PCC in a weeks time. So if anyone needs help, please contact me and i will be pleased to refer to them....they are professional, trustworthy and reputed...

Does this agent help to obtain the PCC only from Qatar? Or is he capable to help it obtain from other GCC countries as well?
Could you atleast share the agency name here on this thread.

No..he has a PRO company in Qatar, so I think he can do PCC for Qatar only. Which GCC country you are looking for? The best way to find reliable PRO is to call local reputed law firms and find out about local PRO firms...

Ok. As such I have already obtained PCCs from two different GCC countries but its always better to have contact information for such processes.

I just had my PCC issued for me for past stay in Qatar through their embassy, the problem is it is addressed to "Embassy of Canada in Egypt" not CIC, will this be a problem?

I am not expert but don't worry. My PCC issued from Qatar is addressed to my home country Pakistan. I don't see it to be an issue as long as the records are clean and that is what matters.

Did they mention old passport number? For me, as I was in Qatar in 2007-2009, they have mentioned old passport number, which again I think should be fine as those authorities can only track the passport in use at that time.

I provide all 3 passports copies and numbers: 2 which I used in qatar over 4 years, and the recent one which I'm submitting to CIC

PS: guys..i am indepdenent of them and worked with them to get my and spouse PCC. So manage it yourself and take care of issues/problems yourself.

Exactly...me too....I also have 3 passports (including recent and last two, with recent UAE visa page too). Anyway..I think it is logical for them to refer to old passport numbers. Likewise, UAE PCC referred to current passport number.

exactly the same with me, my UAE one referred also to the current passport number

I just called the guy and will be sending everything by email to him.
